Thanks for putting up the images. Again if this car comes with anything in range of present cars prices, then it is not good news for others.
Did ACI shed some light on engines to come ?

IMO, the rear looks like the latest lancer sold in US.
the article mentioned 8 -10 lacs pricing! And it also mentioned, its expected to be similiar in size to the Optra, and larger than SX4. The interiors are expected to have lots of design cues burrowed from the Civic. Engine options mentioned are the iVTEC 1.5 that delivers 118 bhp (will be around 100-105 bhp for india as it will be detuned to compensate for low-octane indian fuel). The iDSI will be closed for good, and they are speculating that the iVTEC 1.3 might be offered in base model.

And also, 15" wheels now will be standard.

this is HOT looking for sure but reality check from the INDIAN showroom you will never be able to buy it. it wont even look like that nor will it even come in red. this is being too over optimistic. this looks like a civic killer honestly. no ways. lets see indian standards now. gold is famous for the city and chop those big rims too.

Great news, and the VTEC being now standard will be a huge plus point. The car will be placed slightly higher than the present car. I think you are spot on with those power figures, but in case of Civic, the detuing was not that much. Lets see what comes out.

IMO, they should come out with a 1.3 and price it lower to fight it out with SX4 and others.

Thanks,

I hate the grille. Weird. Where's the chrome gone? Mesh would have looked wow.
It's as plasticky & similar as the Sumo Grandes'.

If the G3HC looks like the one shown in ACI then even God can't save the competition. That's one smashing looking car! It doesn't look as high as the one in the pictures posted here though. I wish the ACI city is the real one. It makes all C segment look like old relics. Heck, even the new Corolla looks outdated compared to the City!

Maruti better start working on the SX4 DDis fast. Damn, why did I buy the SX4?!

Jesal , The car shown in ACI is very much similar spotted by awarty !!
I dont think it matters if it comes in RED! All that matters is that we do get the similar car as shown by ACI. This is not a Civic killer buddy ! Common
Honda is not stupid enough to do that. We shall wait for more pics soon
as its gonna be launched in Thailand in a month or so. All we know is we will surely get a detuned engine for our roads.

The car is looking "wow", if this is the car bieng introduced I am sure it will not be developed and launched in India first and then the other countries will get it, I am sure it has been launched elsewhere and should be available on other Honda websites, which it is not, the mystery is deepening here, isnt it ?

That car looks WOW! Time to do some aggressive saving & hope 3GHC looks like that... front & back. Dont care whether design is a rip-off of BMW or Mitsubishi. It looks good and that's all i care.

The fourth picture from here is used by CNBC TV18 and using it they created a digital image of the new Honda City. They showed the picture with the watermark.

It came on 6:00PM Reporter's Diary program.

It looks a lot like the current City - with minor differences in the front & back.
I think OHC looks far better than the NHC or the new HC.
The NHC looks awful in my opinion, especially from the back.
