Its a good move by Maruti if they launch both Petrol and Diesel variant together.I think the diesel varint will overtake the sales chart.

And dont the Splash have alloy wheels?(Check the last pic)

the interiors are of the A star since there is a black car in the front of it and if you look at the black car s rear then a white astar is standing

is it me or is the A Star and the Splash basically the same car with different noses and boots.

If you notice the side profile of both cars (the little that can be seen of the A Star), the roof lines, rear view mirrors, where the front/rear bumpers finish of, they are exactly the same.

I think Maruti is aiming two segments with the same car, albeit changes to the front, boot, interiors and door handles. Clever Stuff.

Also, you can see the white papers put on the dashboard of A-star visible in both the interior view and front exterior view images.

Interesting both cars look good. At least they look refreshing. I seriously doubt that MSIL will replace the alto with a star ...

Nice thread there chevelle, thanks for sharing the photos aswell. I liked both the cars. And yes the A-Star more or less looks like an Alto, but like a bulky Alto, it looks cute. Interiors are sad though, but lets wait for the final product to come out.

Those are the wheel covers and not the alloys. You can clearly see the black rims behind those wheel covers.

I have taken the permission of RONNIT
AND he is okay with the same.

He is probably joining Team-Bhp soon.

So i hope there is no more problem of violating the rules of team-bhp

The black one wid VDI and ABS is SPLASH and so is the white that is in front with VXI(Petrol)

The second car that is the car with no labels at rear is possibly either a-star or cervo.

If i am not wrong, splash will replace wagon-r and a-star will replace or co exist with alto.

The interiors you see is of the small unlabelled car which is probably cervo or a-star.

the one in black has these interior, we can confirm by having a look at the vents

Seems Maruti is all ready to take on the competition. What about Estilo/ WagonR? WagonR is selling 10,000 units a month, and Estilo around 3,000 units a month. Any idea how they plan the future of these cars?

Wow, these are nice cars.

Yes, now I know I had spotted Splash being tested as I mentioned in another thread, but due to lot of tapes over tail lamps and logo couldn't recognise at that time.

Awesome scoop! Great work.

The A splash looks like a Nano from the front and the Alto from the back.

The splash looks nice. Looks great actually.
