I am getting consistant 14.5 to 16 on my 2009 Vxi. Mostly highway with 40% A/c.
Speed - 70 to 80 and no hard revs.

2010 Dec ZXi, 50% highway driving @ 90-120km/hr speeds.
A/C always on except in winters.

I own 2007 SX4 zxi, done 45000+ km.

I am getting around 12kmpl in city and around 14 in high ways with 100% AC.

I used to have high range trips (Cochin - Munnar) every week and even in that road also gives around 13 kmpl.

Considering the perfomance and space the the milage is pretty reasonable.

I drive a total of 16 Kms and cross 24 signals + 12 speed-bumps daily! My average for a month when my car is mostly doing this, suffers to a low of 8 kmpl. To give better context, on the same stretch, my diesel Indica never gave me more than 12 kmpl - and that was before most of the signals and speedbumps were placed. But then vrooming in my SX4 is so much fun than my earlier snail-paced Indica DLS.

My 2008 SX4 has completed 31k kms - Fuel consumption has ranged between 11.5 to 12 (City Normal : City Bumper to Bumper : Highway mix is 50:20:30, Tyre pressure : 30, AC : ~100%).

I have 2 close friends with SX4, both are sedate drivers and they get between 12 to 12.5 for a similar usage profile but 33 psi tyre pressure.

My 2010 SX4 VVT is nearing 30k. Fuel consumption toggles between 13.75 to 14.5 in the City while on highways its about 17.5 to 18kms.

that's almost double my average in the city

Note: I essentially and sarily service the car from head to toe. I clean up the throttle body among other things during service. . I use mobil 1 synthetic oil for my engine. I would like to believe I get a better mileage due to above, but not sure of it.

With the next service due this month end, will see if throttle body clean up helps

I have a March 2011 SX4 Automatic. City driving in Bangalore, 100% AC, about 10% fast acceleration with kickdown gets me barely 9km/l. On highways this inches up to 11.

Other automatic owners, what do you get?

Recently bought a pre-owned S4 ZXi VVT (Feb11 registered) with 10838 on ODO.
She is now at 13500 on ODO and delivers wide range on mileage in city from 9-12kmpl.
On highways which is my usual run, if I go for auto cut off to auto cut off, I get 16.3 consistently. (Between KOlhapur and belgaum ) if at 120kmph. At 60-80 kmph, I get only 11.8-12.4 kmpl.
If I top up fuel tank till last drop, I get much less mileage. I think most of the pumps are tricking some fuel out in this process.

I own an AT too which in the city returns around 9kmpl. On the highways, I get between 13-14kmpl. The best I have got on a highway is 14.5. I make sure that on long drives, the speed is between 80-100kmph and the rpm between 1.5-2k.

I have a March 2011 SX4 Zxi VVT. Here is my ownership report.

In City the mileage is between 8-9 since I drive always with AC, only 4.74Km with never >15Kmph speed and minimum 4 signals.

But when I hit the highways, the minimum I get is 11.x and maximum is 15.x. Generally speaking full AC, loaded boot plus we are family of 4 mostly in the car! But the figure of 15+ was when I drove solo, super light - with just a laptop bag and pair of cloths on board!

I have a june 2010 sx4 which has done 89000 kms. I get around 10-11 in city and 14 on high ways. All with 100% AC.
