Delivery time for swift

well few weeks before i went to a dealership with a friend who wanted to buy swift or dzire, we were told swift vdi would take 10 days and dzire around 25-30 days depending on the choice of colour.Petrol ones does take more time then diesel models as diesel is more in demand and so does company sends more of diesel vehicles in shipment then petrol as was said by the dealer here.

2 months as informed by BRD motors thrissur for the diesels.petrols are quick delivery.

I booked Swift VDI on 3rd Jun, and got delivery on 1st July from Sai Pune. They would have given some other colors even earlier. I wanted white so 1 month.
Even other dealers had non white colors possible in less than month.

Ritz all variants was available with 2-3 dealers readily.

Not sure of current situation.

I had booked a Swift VDi (ABS) at Popular Automobiles, Cochin. Indus wasn't accepting orders and neither was Sai. Sai promised they will give in 6 months with a deposit of 50k, else they will not take orders.

Popular asked for 10k booking amount and 4 months waiting

. Way too much demand for the Swift, I believe. People (including me) are yet to look beyond Maruti. It certainly is VFM compared to competition (feature wise) and Maruti's widespread service certainly fixes the deal.

This information is from reliable Maruti dealer source in coimbatore:

Swift LDi in white: delivery within a month.

VDi in white: Two months

VDi with ABS: three months
