I like the design...even the boot. It reminds me of the American cars of the 90's from behind, and thats not a bad thing for me. The front looks elegant though.

At least wait till you see it in flesh before doing something drastic... :)

I am quite confused about the looks of the front profile. Looks more unfinished and a desperate attempt to make it look aggressive gone wrong.

But the car looks HUGE for a C-Segment competition!

Guys, to be honest, it looks pretty decent to me. And the boot definitely doesn't look as if its been stuck on!

What kind of rear is that ? Doesnt gel with the front. Its too wide while the front is narrow kinda angled in. Will wait for the actual pics though.

The car looks decent and far far better than the undesirable dzire. However, i feel it lacks the finesse and is not a big head turner. Let's see how well it fairs in terms of VFM and upmarket features.
The boot looks big. Can we expect TATA to bring a MANZA CS version. Just kidding.

Looks alone? I guess there is a large segment who would make their purchase based on affordability, decent performance, comfort, and low(er) running costs.
This car would serve them best.

Much better effort than the earlier Indigo which was just a boot paste job. Is the Manza more longer than the outgoing Indigo? It atleast feels so from the pictures. Tata always deliver a nice price for its cars. The Dzire has competition now. Are there still long waits for the Dzire? This might work in favour of the Manza.

come on guys, its vastly better looking than the other options in the lower end of the C segment. And we still dont have proper rear three quarters and profile shots.

For the looks lets wait for more pics. But I like the car including the rear design.

But the panel gaps and shutlines look superbly finished. TATA has moved up considrably on the quality front. I hope this car will not have typical TATA niggles.

Well for me, the Manza looks a lot better and TATA seems to have done a wonderful job.

Now remains to be seen how well the interiors will be to decide whether it will be a winner.

Looks like the old Opel vectra from the behind.

I am not able to comment. The boot is not looking like an "after thought", also not as like in the Dzire.
However viewing it from 3/4 will give th exact picture.

the news is all over the net as well - TaTa hopes big with 'launching cheap but luxurious Manza' - International Business Times

Oct 14th it is and price between 5.5 to 7.5l

Infact the middle portion of the boot reminded me of the cadillac i saw in auto expo 08 in delhi. The color is almost identical as well if i rem correctly.

Thanks for making me smile on a rough day:)

All in all the car looks big and imposing!

Edit - Also this might not be the top model as i can spot wheel covers instead of alloys.
Also Tata's paint quality is going up and up with each launch.

Saw a full page advt. of Manza in today's Times of India. They have already started to build up the excitements towards it's launch. My guess is it could be launched in a day or two as they would want to launch it at least a week before Diwali.
