It seems as though Ford will not be around this time. Firstly it doesn't appear in the map. Secondly latest edition of the ACI confirms that Figo will not be on the display.

Are these reasons enough to believe so?

Mahindra new SUV going to be launched at Auto Expo. In all more than 10 cars.
Tata coming up with 4 products. One of them in Indicruz, but is Tata coming up with New Safari also ?

This years India Motor Show is tipped to be the second-largest automotive event in the world, behind the Shanghai Motor Show, with projections of over 18 lakh visitors for the seven day event, according to Auto Expo chairman Rajive Kaul.

The Shanghai Motor Show that generates footfalls of over 20 lakh every year is considered the largest auto event in the world. Over the last few years, with the rapid growth in domestic demand, the Indian Motor Show has overtaken other big global auto events including those held in Tokyo and Frankfurt in terms of visitors. India happens to be the worlds second-fastest growing auto market.

Some of the big global launches slated for the event are General Motors Beat and Suzukis Eeco in the small car segment. Tata Motors, the countrys largest auto company by revenue, would also launch four new products, whose details are still under wraps. Japanese car maker Toyota and Honda will showcase their future concepts of compact cars that would hit the Indian market in the next two years.

Mahindra & Mahindra will also launch two new products from its utility vehicle platform and a new truck from the Navistar joint-venture. The worlds second-largest truck maker Volvo will also launch its new global truck and Daimler Motor will launch its new range of buses.

Although, Japans Nissan and the US automaker Ford are not participating in the show, all major Indian carmakers will be showcasing their products. In all, there would be 2,100 participants from 30 countries.

Heard on a news channel that Ford, Bajaj and nissan won't be paricipating in Auto expo.
So 370z fans would be dissapointed it seems.

Mercedes to launch C250 CGI at Expo | Autocar India

Awesome! If this comes in at the same price as the C200, it will be incredible! But with the 320d Exec now out at 23lacs, i'm hoping Merc feels the heat and revises their prices! Anybody out there with any price ideas?

There is no way it will be priced under the C220 CDi, forget the C200

You think? I figured Benz would FINALLY switch the C over to the BlueEFFICIENCY engines.

They already have the C230 which is their 6 cylinder, the C250 is the turbocharged 1.8 - doesn't make sense for it to be priced higher than the V6.

My bad, i read it as CDi ! You're right it could be similar to the C200 pricing defiantly not lower.

I don't really care about all the other cars being launched there, hence i started this as a seperate topic - twice! If we (you) remove the 'Launch at Autoexpo' part, can we keep & discuss this independantly? Posts 171-175 -Thank You!

Just saw an ad in NDTV Profit.. From Toyota.. It says "First in India" to be launched in Auto Expo 2010.. Which car launch is it?
