I don't remember where, but I read that Fiat India has freezed the design for a Linea variant which will be within 4m length, aka Indigo CS. Is this what Mr. Rajeev Kapoor means when he says there will be a new Linea? Also, he mentions that Fiat is basically a small car manufacturer, which is true to a very large extent.

I am interested to buy Linea 1.4 Petrol Active through CSD in ozone blue/electric blue/blue which was displayed in Autoexpo10 at Delhi.( not interested in Fox trote Azure)

1.When this model will be available in CSD? (currently only emotion pack is available)

2. When blue colour will be available? (Now electric blue for punto is also withdrawn from May10)

I have tried to get info by 03 attempts,
i) I have posted on fiat-india.com CEO's feedback ( But i got only auto generated email with fixed reply of thanx)

ii) I have called Concorde Motors, LB nagar, Hyd ( But the sales guy was not having the info for both questions)

iii) I have made a special request by sending letters through speedpost at Mumbai and Ranjangaon factory office ( but no reply fron any one)

Presently on emotion and emotion pack variants of BSIII are available through CSD. The color you are looking for is not launched by Fiat in India. Linea is not available in Active variant any how. Only Punto is available in Active variant.

Deepak, Sorry to open an old post, where would it leave the Punto then ?
The Punto comes just under 4m in India,its actually more than 4m as per original design.

I would say that for all practical purposes Punto should be the sub-4m Linea (except for shoulder space)

And the boot space. You can think of the difference between Indica and Indigo CS.
