The BS article speculates an i-VTEC engine which is wrong. It just a
regular VTEC.

Hey, i just saw the papers and it is certain that Honda is releasing a i-vtec engine for the new honda city. The price does not seem to be bad either. Check this out:

man,all this is happening, and the Honda dealers don't know what's going on !
I called up Linkway and Ichibaan(a week back),and Ichibaan said there is NO facelift expected !
And Linkway said the Facelifted VTEC engine is coming..other 3 variants of the City will remain the same..
And according to internet sources/magazines,the facelift is across all 3 variants.
So,Honda dealers themselves aren't aware of all this !..man,some Honda sales people should register themselves on Team BHP !
Cheers,
sr

The price of City has gone up by 5.7 % in the SE-Asian countries...

If we assume the price to rise by the same amount we are looking at the base model going up from 6.52 L Ex-showroom Delhi to 6.9 L ....

This shld be good news to Ford guys ... planning on th Fiesta launch ...

The City ZX has arrived finally in India..
The old NHC shape has been phased out and all 3 variants are being replaced by ZX..+a VTEC version.
Prices have gone a bit high..check out the website for details.

So,gonna have some good times ahead with Fiesta and City ZX rocking the Indian Car Industry..

Aah! Finally its here. But only 100 bhp and 175-14 tires.
Lost 10 bhp in the conversion from Malaysian to Indian currency....er petrol.

I checked the website. The city ZX says 77bhp. Looks like no VTEC motor soon

The site says that VTEC will be a 100 bhp version here. Looks like some detuning has happened.

Haha it sucks! Single exhaust instead of dual tips, alloys that look like the wheelcaps on the Accent and Santro, and only 100bhp! Disgrace to the Vtec name...

But...final verdict only after the test-drive.
