yawn, underwhelming for a new car, Toyota was not this boring some time ago, over the years they seem to be losing their mojo at least from the design sense. If companies like Toyota can't excite us with their designs then the industry really is in doldrums. A bit sad really, Honda's small car was much much better.

Way to go Aniket!

Can't see why so many guys are upset with the looks. Obviously these are non-decorated test cars without any Chromes, logos or graphics/liners. The production version is sure to be better looking. However I do believe it is not a stunner, but it is definitely not ugly looking as some of us think. Ashutosh's pic above confirms that.

I didn't like the design of sedan at all. So many cars on the road with that smiling face grill design. Only may be I can think of buying this car for its quality (fit and finish). Certainly this car will lack internal space (tata has obvious advantage in this), service network (as is true with any toyota car for that matter), internal features (manza is well ahead in this). The price would be very crucial factor. Hope they price it very close to manza/dezire to beat the competition from both these by then well established models.

Hye Aniket, have you seen whether these cars were having console at center or in front of driver?

I think it was in front of the driver.Not too sure now.Cant recall.

today i spotted these two cars on NH1 in ludhiana. there were no badges or logo on the car. one was hatch and the other is sedan sharing same front. these cars were followed by a black swift. these all three cars were KA registered.

to me it looks like new logan and its hatchback model. the interior wasnt the same as logan but the exterior shape of the sedan looks like logan.

Mods:- please move this thread to the appropirate thread if there is any existing thread related to this car.

Nice work pal. That is the Toyota Etios. There's no other car you would mistake for the Logan !

Its Etios Sedan...not logan. Can easily make out from Front.

There s two - hatch and a sedan. Sedan if turns out to be Logan is definitely way better than the boxy one at present.
Now what about the hatch. The bonnet indicates as though its Etios??
