Imagine Maruti putting a 60:40 split back seat on a Swift or a seat height adjustment on DZire Vxi/VDi or changing dull black dashboards to two-tone interiors. Osamu Suzuki will probably start spinning with rage when Maruti starts doing crazy things like listening to customers

Me too thinks that red looks cooler. But still eager to see how will the blue one look.

When is the i20 with these new features going to be launched? No mention about this on their new website too.

I was at Rishabh today and caught a glimpse of the new variant!

a guy there said the indicator ORVMs can be fitted in the old models too!
I hope he's right

(personally I don't like chrome grill! (you need a different(chrome specific) polish for maintaining chrome! lol)

the center console and the driver and passenger side air vents are silver

basically they've fully euro-specced the Indian i20! (except the engine, alloys, tires)

btw here are a few pics

Centre console now in Silver!! I hope it's not tacky. The earlier one was good quality.
Hyundai should also do something to improve the air-conditioning in the i20. Owners are complaining of horrible experiences in this hot weather.

I think its Asta!(it had 'Burglar Alarm' written on the driver side window)

btw I have the same leather wrapped chrome topped gear knob in my i20 Asta(1.2 petrol)

Nice Scoop there

I'm all NO for a chrome grill and the silver Center console. Also more than the ORVM indicators, I more interested to know whether the Burglar Alarm can be fitted in the old models. Any news about that?

I hope they would consider launching an i20 1.2 AT Asta variant in future. Something in the 5.5-6.5L price bracket would be great.

Hmm. They might have it as an option for the sportz version. I also agree that it should be standard, considering the price. The Era version of i20 will be a threat to the i10 IMO

I always felt that there is huge gap between i10 and i20.

irde engine is sufficient for i10. i10 kappa was not really required.

Hyundai should have introduced another model (i15) with the kappa engine.

i20 should have been projected as a premium hatch right from the beginning, with only gamma and crdi engine options.

the era is coming because the getz has been phased out.
