That's correct. My friend is in talks with a dealer in Pune for i20 and they aren't ready to offer any discounts on i20.

Does anybody know of any discounts/deals on Skoda Fabia?
Also I am curious to know if any discounts could be negotiated if I am able to make the full payment (without any loan)!

Once you have all the numbers on the table see whats the best deal you can put together.

Hey bro, thanks for the reply.I tried getting quotes from the other closest dealer(in Salem),they just offered free insurance and no extended warranty deal. Moreover they have some internal territory problems(a dealer has his own boundary limit).

The other products that I saw was the Altis and the Cruze. Both their dealers refused any offers. So is it OK with the current offer.

As for the Car Batch issue, yes I was going to ask the dealer to get in writing. Thanks for the mail idea. Will do that if he refuses to give it in a letter head.

Nopes, the 3 year cashless maintenance/9 free services package has been withdrawn (you can still go for it for 12,999 appx). So, earlier it was a 13K discount which has been topped to 20K for Beat & a whole lot for Sparky!

Regarding the art leather seats do be sure of the quality. If its good enough then a big :thumbs up from my side. :)

Yes, It is true. My friend in banglore have booked i20 sportz. He is getting the insurance and remote sensor free. I got around 6K worth accessories free, with my i20 in the mid of this year

Here is the deal on Ford Figo ( Titanium Diesel. Rs 6000 cash discount, extended warranty for 3rd year free, basic kit Rs 1950 free). As per the dealer the same is valid only for the stocks available with them this month. The offers will be withdrawn in Jan and the prices may be increased as well

I enquired about Maruti Wagon R Vxi with ABS here in Chennai and I was offered the following:

Rs 15,000 flat off
Rs 2000 corporate discount

Freebies:
1. Art leather seat covers
2. Sunfilm - Garware
3. Car cover

Is this a good deal?

Negotiated some more and got a better deal:

Rs 18,000 flat off
Rs 2000 corporate discount

Freebies:
1. Art leather seat covers
2. Sunfilm - Garware
3. Car cover
4. full floor cover.

Deal on Sx4 in NCR:

30000 Cash Discount

Works out to be a cool 65000 Off.

Not sure about Xylo. But the Mahindra dealer in Thane called me yesterday with discounts between 25,000 (LX) to 51,000 (VLX) for the Scoprio. I have asked for the details on the VLX 4x4. Awaiting details.

There is Dec discount of 50K being offered for Xylo by Mahindra dealer in Thane along with free Insurance and extended warranty at nominal cost being thrown in. My colleague has booked a Xylo E8 variant and is expected delivery in the last week of Dec 2010.

Booked i20 Sportz Petrol with one of the Hyundai dealers here in Pune 10 days back and would be taking the delivery in the new year.

Apart from the standard stuff that all dealers provide, like the floor mating, mud-flaps, car freshener etc. this chap is giving me an additional Rs 5000 accessories free.

The insurance benefits being aired on television is not for i20. Apparently even Verna has that offer, but nothing for i20. Hyundai's playing a hardball with i20, and why not!, its selling like hot cakes!! But I'm a little skeptical of how long will Hyundai be able to sustain this attitude, more so after Toyota Etios's launch, and a slew of new cars/upgrades planned in the first of next year.

I would have waited if not for personal urgency...

Deals in Pune:

Hyundai: Free Insurance + some freebies (EXCEPT i20)

Ford: Close to 45,000 cash discount on all Fiestas

Fiat: 55,000 cash discount on all Puntos and Lineas.

Maruti: Standard discounts in the range of 10k to 55k(on SX4) on various models (EXCEPT Swift)

Honda: Insurance @ 1 Re. 55,000 on all Jazz variants (Except Jazz X). 15,000 exchange bonus on all cars.

Is Chevrolet giving any year end discounts on Cruze LT/LTZ?
