Just got a call from Concorde Motors. Free Insurance and some other discounts (totaling up to around 40-45k) being offered on the Punto.

Fiat has had this standard discount for last couple of months now (atleast in NCR) -
a) Insurance free (max 26000 depending on model - Tjet+). In my case it was 20900 (petrol Emotion pack)
b) Exchange bonus - 10 to 20k (20k in Oct, 10k in Nov)
c) Free EW (3rd & 4th year)
d) Free On road assistance
e) Accessories - 2k

Additional charge of 3k for a, c & d package

Hope this helps

I went to Trident Chevrolet to check out the Beat, was offered a 20thousand discount.

What amazed me was that I now had to pay for

Auto cop -3800
Sunfilm -3000
Comprehensive protection plan - 13000

All the above were free just two weeks ago but no discount was on offer. Amazes meplease:

I am looking for an automatic for my dad. Thought the SX4 fits the bill perfectly. So far have got 40000 Company Discount + 20000 Loyalty Bonus + 15000 Dealer payout. Thats a cool 75000 off! and if you dont mind black, you'll get an additional 3000 off @ Autovista.

Just heard from Mahindra:

50,000 off on all Scorpios & Xylos

30,000 off on Bolero

Here in Bangalore I inquired for Bolero but no offer for that. Only 4-5k corporate discount. For Scorpio & Xylo also, it's upto 50k for different models, except Scorpio basic model.

Trident and Advaith Hyundai in Bangalore:

Model: i20 (All variants)

Offers:
- Free insurance (Which they claim to be worth 18+ k whereas thanks to some Tbhpians, we know for a fact that getting the insurance coverage from Bajaj Allianz makes that figure closer to 10k :))
- Standard kit such as floormats, teflon polish, Parking sensor (With display on the LHD extreme of the dash, Vehicle cover, sun-film (The offered brand is a local variant i presume 'Gadvare' or the like)

Also, the best offer from either dealer includes an upgrade to a parking sensor with a display integrated in the RVM for 2k and Imitation leather seat-covers for 4.5k.

P.S: Have been pottering around town with the occasional out-of-town ride on a Unicorn and then a Zma for the last 5 years, I'd say i'm pretty high in the Dummies-behind-the-wheel-list :D

Hence, I've decided to put in that parking sensor when i cough up the cash for a Grey i20 Sportz (O)...

Saw an ad in yesterdays TOI, Mumbai of Mahindra offering 37K discount on Logan Petrol. In spite of the heavy price cuts on Logan, further price cut indicate of lack of Logan sales and M&M tyring to clear the stock.

55K off on a new City in Kerala.

Just saw an ad for Scorpio 4X4 AT (without airbag) with the following details:
1. Upto 50,000 off ('Upto' doesn't sound that great)
2. 11.75 Lakhs (not mentioned whether ex-showroom or on-road. Also not mentioned whether this is the price before discount.)
3. EMI offer of Rs. 9999 (Not mentioned how this is done)
4. Not mentioned the validity period (till date of the offer).
5. Conditions apply (oh yeah, I was dumb to think otherwise).

Please share if you have more details on this offer.

  • Beat special price Rs.3.29 Lakh ( regular price Rs. 3.50 Lakh )
  • Offer valid from 5th to 20th December 2010 only.

The advt. compares the above special prices with the competitors' price, with Maruti Alto K10B LXI mentioned at Rs. 3.22 Lakh and the Hyundai i10 1.2 Kappa 2-Magna at Rs. 4.15 Lakh.

The details that you have mentioned looks highly unrealistic. Cannot believe the same since you said its a paper cutting,no other option rather to believe.

Auto-one is right! I read the same thing in TOI it was I think. Its crazy that the beat is priced at the same level as the K10.

I'm not sure which one is better. I'm not sure if I did the right thing in buying the K10 about a month ago.

Beat is wider, more powerful, has better interiors and features, better on all count except that enormous service centre network advantage of in favour of K10. The sense of security of having service centre round the corner usually overcomes all other goodies:eek:

Scorpio Top end - 4x4 VLX with Airbags and ABS - 13.45 on road.

50000 Rs off . Corporate Discount, Loyalty Bonus etc etc.

Dealer's discretion mostly so negotiation is highly possible. The dealer is as anxious as you are to cut a deal and close the show. I ve been getting on average a call a day each from the three dealers in Bangalore on account of the fact that I indicated interest in upgrading to Scorpio 4x4 VLX via the M&M website. I am not buying though because they are not being nice enough to give me the colour I want which frankly they should be able to on account of the fact that the 4x4 has to be built against firm order.

In addition to the dealer discount one should take one's No Claim Bonus and save a further Rs 15000 odd on the Insurance payout.

Should be able to knock off a comfy 65-70K I think if one tries hard.
However, it is worth taking the 4 year extended warranty for 12999/- for a vehicle like this so that should not be knocked off in one's urge to save.

Saw the full page ad for Spark and Beat in todays Hindu. 2.7 and 3.29L apiece for the lower variant. Appears to be a good Xmas bargain
