Beat is a pedestrian compared to Alto k10.

Rs.55K off on the whole deal! I checked at a dealership in NOIDA.

Quick Update:

Had been to Trident Hyundai yesterday to pay the booking amount.
Tried pitting Advaith's offer of providing sun-film from vkool as a freebie.

The salesperson said that he did not have any other brands with him other than 'Garware' and '3M' and that he was willing to offer either one free.

Picked 3M ! clap:

Have already downloaded the PDI list etc and will be visiting the stockyard on Monday as the car is expected to be allotted then.

Cheers !

This cannot be possible. It means the dealer as well the company is selling the car well beyond their margin and manufacturing cost as well.May be lot of terms be applicable and highly notional savings as advertised by the dealer.

What i understand here in Bangalore as far the saving of hyundai cars is 10000/- cash back + free insurance.

No one can offer 71000 for a car which is normally sold at 4-6 L. If possible please enquire in detail and report the information.

50000 Rs off . Corporate Discount, Loyalty Bonus etc etc.

Dealer's discretion mostly so negotiation is highly possible. The dealer is as anxious as you are to cut a deal and close the show. I ve been getting on average a call a day each from the three dealers in Bangalore on account of the fact that I indicated interest in upgrading to Scorpio 4x4 VLX via the M&M website. I am not buying though because they are not being nice enough to give me the colour I want which frankly they should be able to on account of the fact that the 4x4 has to be built against firm order.

In addition to the dealer discount one should take one's No Claim Bonus and save a further Rs 15000 odd on the Insurance payout.

Should be able to knock off a comfy 65-70K I think if one tries hard.
However, it is worth taking the 4 year extended warranty for 12999/- for a vehicle like this so that should not be knocked off in one's urge to save.

Contacted MPL Chennai today - 50K discount for VLX, but if you order a 4x4 no Discounts (Invoicing should happen before 31Dec). Cannot go for My Own Insurance Agent and save - they are instructed to use inhouse agents for this. Dealer will buy insurance through my preferred company though.

No other freebies on Scorpio, as I asked for floor mats and other standard fitments (yet to get the full list) FREE!

It must be for a previous model of i10. Maybe some unsold stock.
The month before the launch of the new i10 all Hyundai dealers were pushing off the i10 at a discount of 40 - 55k.

Getting Linea (top end) at 9.05 (thane regn) after all the year end discounts. The car is of Dec 2010.

However the dealer SM mentioned that there is a Nov 2010 car available - Can i further negotiate on the price that he is offering of 9.05 for the Dec 2010?

Got a message from VV that they are going to increase the prices of Polo by Rs.18,000 effective January 1.
