Yes, it looks like it will happen on Bannerghatta Road - Nice Road junction. They have put some temporary stands on one side of the unused road and also a tent/stage. Below are some pics. They are yet to put any hoardings or banners.

I got another SMS from Vodafone asking me to visit a Vodafone store for 'assured' passes to this event. On going there I was told that passes will be given if one takes a new post-paid connection!
I anyway want to get a better 3G data plan (I am on Vodafone prepaid) and will see what kind of passes I get on getting a post-paid connection.

Im surprised NONE of teambhpian is part of organizing so we can get some inside info & may be access to VIP area!!

I have unavoidable meeting at office from 8-10AM, will need to rush at 10!!

I too got the standard invite from vodafone on sms couple of days back. However am still suspicious of this 300 number.

Just read a newspaper article yesterday in Times of India where 2 schools have been invited from bangalore for the event and approximately 1000 students are expected to attend just from these 2 schools !!

We are going to end up like a cricket match like crowd very likely ..

I am still bemused that with the event scheduled around 12 hours from now, that they haven't made a formal announcement as to where this is to take place.

Will surely reach the bannerghatta - nice road junction but would be helpful if someone is able to confirm it by any means (contacts in vodafone top management perhaps ??)

Don't be so harsh on him...without him there is no excitement...seeing Vettel cruise seems so much like Michael few years back.
He's had his share of mistakes but he is not Takumo Sato

LOL True!! But A champion being compared against Sato is bit overboard!! He is a driver with lot of potential. Partly to be blamed is Mclaren and partly his aggressiveness. I hope he learns soon and returns to his form! Enjoy Bangalore BHPians and pics please!

-McLaren didn't handle Alonso or Hamilton well....should have asked him to toe Alonso (so that his Spanish ego was not hurt) and in a couple of seasons blossom out.

They did the same mistake with Aryton and Alan prost. Well on one hand I am happy that Alonso left, on the other, I feel they are still not upto the mark of promoting hamilton. I just noticed one thing, that, Mclaren is a English team with both drivers as Englishmen! Eager to see what he can do on the Nice road. I remember it to be curvy and smooth. expecting some donouts and flying passes.
