Loved all the images, what lens have you used for the event as your angles vary from close up to wide as well as sharp and clean Thanks to all the F1 fans for sharing !

Interesting, I expected sigma 150-500 or similar but it has changed all my assumptions on the capabilities of a P&S

They did not expect people to climb from other side and be right over the track!! Only 2 people are let in at a time at entry. No line, etc. Huge chaos!

-Road can be bigger (poor Lewis was reversing at every lap for uturn!, There was a time, when he had to call people to push his car back so he can take U turn!!)

MC and music was not very consistent, there were times with no music nor MC, leaving crowd with no Idea whats next!

Very less police-to-crowd ratio, Lewis can easily get into trouble!

I think due to above reasons, organizers might have cut down some stunts and even duration of F1 laps!

Overall, my first time with running F1! Amazing experience! Wanting more.....

Here are pics from my side.
Yes.The event was poorly organised one.
There was absolutely no safety aspects. Media people and all were going near the track ,than using their stands.

The anchors used to tell the people who climbed and sat on the wall to "keep your legs off the track". I think that was the tag line of the event.

What can Lewis do in a 150-200 metre track, where he has to get help of people to trun his car. Only on the second round, he was able to do some burning or donuts.

I think it was Vodafone's mistake for these type of mismatch.
Earlier it was a 3000 or less people invitation based event. By last day, it seems they opened the SMS option to all,so that they can generate some revenue. I think whoever SMS'ed at last moment got invitation replies.

Some policemen were walking on the track, while he was driving.

40,000 seems to be an exaggerated number!! I was there and heard the MC announce 10,000 people had gathered. Might be a bit more say 15k but certainly not 40k.

That's a cool one Vid6639. Looks like Lewis did it for your camera alone
