Awesome pics Rahul. It was as good as being there sans the heat and humidity. But missed a chance to see these exotics (no am not referring to the last pic). LOL

What I'd have loved to see is Bobby Jayaram's Dolphin run with these cars. The silly weight limit prevents cars like that from being competitive.

same here wanted to see how the zens also fare against the evo's the vtec zens etc..

Ananth there were a lot of cars that didn't run because of this weight stipulation. The Jayaram's Dolly was just one among them. There was also a project being undertaken to build a group of rear engined zens and a couple of Indica sport too. I guess since this is the first time, we need to wait till the 2nd round. By which date I have been promised more fun coming our way.

Narayan, I read from a Sri Lankan forum that the presenters were from Ten Sports. Not quite sure. I always thought they were from DD Sports, since DD had screened all the single seater races till date.

Ok, don't know where else to post, so I'm asking here. Can you run engine swaps and/or forced induction in Indian Open?

Infact, I managed to capture some more shots of the cars before they took off.

The actual take off.

Heading to C1.

Can it get any closer?

Notice the red scooby in 3rd place? See the lead the white Evo has on him.

On lap 2 this is how it looks. Notice the Scooby.

Suddenly, they all were getting sucked into the others rear ends.

More to follow. Imageshack is acting up right now.
