Sorry if this is off topic but was just too curious. The guys who came down from sri lanka with the evo's must have gone through a lot of paper work and customs etc.........Does any one know what was the procedure involved? and does this mean we can go to the other side an take part in events there?

ray, not sure about us going there but for sportspeople (like seamen and aircrew) there is something called a CDC (Continuous Discharge Certifacte), with this in place, you would not need to apply for visas and all that all the time.

but with regards to cars, it is very easy, there are just 3 forms that you need to fill and sign and these mention that it is for the purpose of racing and not for sale and will not be used for commercial purposes, blah blah.....

question - the tires are supplied by MRF. What if they explod? Who's responsible for it? The team (for bad driving) or MRF for the bad tire?
