Road outside NAB is dug up and the other side is used for two way traffic. I wonder how we will get parking for so many cars.

I'm assuming there might be parking inside the premises. Else I wonder how so many cars will be parked tomorrow and flagged off.

There isnt enough place inside for more than 7/8 cars. Ideally they should shift base to an event tent outside the milk dairy, also from where the flag off can happen tommorow. Im sure the organisers know the problem of parking and flag off in view of the road work!

Good meet, though I wish I'd met more BHPians this afternoon. For the ones who are first-timers at a Team-BHP gathering, please come by and introduce yourselves to us. You'd find us around a bunch of cars with Team-BHP stickers on them. Look forward to meeting some new faces!

I wish the navigators had a little training, mine was absolutely clueless on the rally, the map or what he was expected to do. Even a basic 30 minute training session from the organisers would go a long way in making this rally a stellar success. I didn't do much on the trial run, except for driving down to Aarey and having an energee. Only after we went back, and my navigator was explained the map (for 5 minutes) by an organiser, were we really getting somewhere. He mentioned that he had NO familiarisation session at all, and was merely told by someone to come by NAB, at a particular computer class that he attends. Disappointing. I intend to make this suggestion to the organisers. Again, even a simple 30 - 60 minute (organised) training session will go a long way.

Rudra, today was just the pairing with our navigators, and a short trial run to get familiar with the procedure.

Tomorrow is the main event and im sure there will be pictures taken then. (I'll take a few)

Scooby, to be honest, i dont/didnt know for sure, i just took everyones timings and averaged them Eventually the flag off was much later, but it made sense to get there early to pair up / get organized.

Heres the report and pics in a new thread : http://www.team-bhp.com/forum/motor-...-feb-09-a.html
