I reckon a major source of reveue apart from the motorsports activity at Dubai Autodrome is vehicle testing and launch for car companies.

But then if you take mumbai into picture... there would be zero revenue from these activities...
The only source of revenue which i see is the one coming from these SUV companies sponsoring off road track days...

You do have a whole load of auto mags based out of Bombay. They could run their routine tests at your track.

DKG- Good idea, but i am inclined more on a fun dirt/off road track where people with atvs/buggies can come... since i am a little tight on vitamin M
But none the less its a good idea...

But you wouldn't want people getting drunk and then hitting the track would you?

Ideally, the drinks will come at the end of the day. And of course, agreements will be signed for insurance purposes, so people will be doing so at their own risk.

What stops them from drinking at home & coming to the track or drinking on the way to the track?

Btw, great idea about renting it out to car mags. I was going to suggest movies but I didn't think of car mags

a compulsory breath analyzer test before entering the track should solve it.

Bad for business.

If they sign an agreement form, it's more than enough

That will get them into trouble even if there is a single incident/accident with a drunken driver... better safe than sorry

Exactly! A signed agreement is only for their safety. What about others on the track at the same time?

My project would be in the outskirts of Hyd. Vehicle testing and movies is just a bonus, if it happens, great, if not, no problem. It isn't the main source of income.

Legal waivers would be signed by all, and the risk of someone being previously intoxicated is universal to any/all facilities. However the waiver can contain items like being banned for life if they are found to be intoxicated or if they cause a situation which endangers the safety of anyone at the track etc. It can also contain a statement that the offender could be at risk of legal action against them and may be turned over to the proper authorities(drunk driving is illegal correct?). I'd say all that within the legal waiver would be deterrent enough for anyone to try such a foolish thing. That is the work for the attorney's when the time comes.

And most/all automotive tracks around the world do not allow alcohol on the property limits. The legal liabilities are obvious and most insurance companies will not insure such and establishment if they allow it. Go Karting is a bit different then a place where someone can possibly go 200+ MPH(300+ KPH).
