You're completely right wrt timings.

But what about that B16 OHC running in Indian open? Werent the cars being checked before the runs?

If the scrutineers can't differentiate between an indian and foreign engine, then maybe they should have only one "class" where you can run whatever car you want.

Why should the competitors have to pay for somebody else's mistake?

Tomorrow if someone comes with a supercar in the Indian Open Class, are the organizer gonna wait till someone pays and lodges an official complaint?

C'mon guys, theres a limit to everything.

Yup he did, As far as i know it was only 1 down (Mumbai 2007). I dont think he was changing engines for valve bends. For the record, His engine was intact. Gearbox gave way.

Superb ET as well RT (0.52), Guess his nick suites him (king of carbs)

Thats was meant to be a joke dude. Don't take it that seriously.

But the fact remains that whoever was checking the cars, wasn't paying attention. This correction should have been done without any official complaint.

If no one protested, then its over and done with. No point spending 10 pages talking about it.

Where can we get exact info? There is no single point of contact? The listed mobile numbers dont seem to be working (no one is picking up)

And like I always say (I have been participating in speedrun since 05 and never won) keep it on the strip off it we are all who we are. Some rich, some not so rich but we all come there and enjoy the time and leave with good memories.

I am laughing on the floor trying to imagine if you really do believe that a 1.3L NA zen can do a 13 sec run. We are not in OZ land. I think we all need to start using a bit of common sense here before posting.

Hi Rahul, even I know it's quite hard to digest. But I've been involved with the build right from the start. And we knew it all along that it'd be somewhere in late 13's. 13 was quite a surprise, and let me assure you, it's done keeping all the rules and regulations in mind. Anyone who finds it difficult to believe is welcome to come and have a look. Oh, by the way, we know we're not in OZ land, but the said car has a lot to do with OZ land.
