Top Gear Season 19 - Currently on Air

Watched 3rd Episode, Good coverage on the Toyota GT86 & Subaru BRZ & funny too. The usual TG challenge of Public Transport & a Car (Ford GT500) was usual affair. Overall average by TG standards.

I loved the old school review of the adorable GT 86. Overall, a nice episode.

Decent episode. Ho-hum overall.

The race got quite interesting towards the end.
But the GT 86 review was better done, in the DVD that Jezza & Captain Slow made last year IMO.

Next episode looks boring. Three hatch backs & the Mexican supercar.
Paul Di Resta is the SIARPC. That might be worth watching.

Eagerly waiting for the Christmas special to be aired!
Hope that turns out to be awesome.
I just wish Top Gear goes back to the way it was before.
Just 3 middle aged men falling over.
Why can't they go back to making convertible people carriers and try crossing the English channel in home made amphibious cars

Here are some of my favourite challenges (no episodes here since the list would be really long)

Build a train, 2 wheel drive across Africa, Vietnam special, Police car, Bolivia special, Middle east (especially the climax where they find the stig

) and many more. Have watched these challenges couple of times. These are few episodes that I dont mind downloading the 1080p HD version. In fact, all TG episodes are HD versions. Definitely worth it.

Favorite episodes - Amazon Special and Vietnam Special and 18x01(the 458 Challenge)

Favorite tests - Ferrari 458 Italia, Pagani Zonda R, Hamster's Aventador one, BMW M5 (from S18),old episode wherein Clarkson reviews Merc S-class , then the Jaguar E-type memento episode.

Repeat telecast , you mean? Timing details, as on where ?

Hope you know that BBC Entertainment is dead 2 months back.

Episode 4.

It is rather nice and funny indeed. Got amazing star power!

I didn't like the rugby part, or any TG car sports really. But the overall, the best episode of the season so far.

After watching first 4 episodes of season 19, i personally feel that TG is losing its charm. The news section is getting really boring where the hosts just keep talking about the personal stories (which is vulgar and not tasteful most of times) instead of any exciting automotive news. Also the test drives and whole show as a whole seem more scripted and rushed than earlier seasons.

After watching Sunday's episode, I've got to admit, there were more than a few glimpses of old TG. They were at their hysterical best! The 'News' cracked me up and the new Cee'd review left me wanting for more! All in all, it was a great episode! And I believe they've still got it in them.

Best of the lot so far. Loved Hammond's review of the Mastretta and Clarkson Vs May rugby match - especially their half-time pep talks!

The whole discussion around the handbrake and its uses was hillarious!

So I guess TG is done with all it's episodes for this season. The latest episode is out. The Africa Special will be a two part episode which will be aired on 3rd and 10th March respectively.

The last episode was at its hilarious best. The old people car modifications were thought out cleverly and Clarkson and Hammond presented them in really funny situations. I was

when they placed that noise ball under the brake pedal, sheer genius!!!

The RR review left me wanting for more, it was more focussed on the terramax than the RR. May has done a better review of the Evoque a few years back, wish they tested it more thoroughly.

Watched Episode 5, great episode, quite hilarious with old people car & loved the SIARPC. The RR piece was decent.

The Xmas special(yep that's what Jeremy called it

) is what they would be airing in the next two episodes, should be interesting to watch.

Episode 5 was flipping hilarious. Thoroughly enjoyed watching it! RR piece was mighty impressive!

To me this season, although it may land up being one of the shortest has somehow captured the essence that Topgear seemed to have lost the past few seasons! Brilliant!
