Re: 2012 F1 - Malaysian Grand Prix

NK on the HRT will be relishing it now. Good gamble.

Edit: Oops! Red flag.

Good show by Vergne. He can now change the tyres if needed without visiting the pit.

Re: 2012 F1 - Malaysian Grand Prix

With so many rain-meisters in the current season, its a shame that they are waiting in the grid for the skies to clear up. That said - its probably better to have a red flae BEFORE than after rain related pile ups. Nice to see NK in the top 10. Critics - a tyre strategy (gamble!) is certainly a legitimate reason to gain places.

Not to take anything away from Hamilton, but he's the only driver who doesn't have to deal with spray from the car ahead.

Equally, he's the first into every corner, without really knowing the conditions. So I guess that balances it out a bit.

They called Lewis rain master after his drive at Silverstone in 2008 too. Good that the race is restarting in few minutes. Will see who is best wet weather driver for sure.

Re: 2012 F1 - Malaysian Grand Prix

It rained and Alonso is making the F2012 look good.

JB should have been careful. NK left him enough room.

Hats off Fernando Alonso..
With an underpowered, slow on the corner car & a bit of luck , managed to pull off one one of the best victories Ferrari can imagine with that lemon of a car!
Definitely one of the best F1 drivers out there..! He is a real asset to the prancing horse

Brilliant Race.
Great driving by Alonso and Perez(Future Ferrari Driver)
Goes to show why Alonso is worth the salt in the faltering Ferrari.

What a drive by Alonso. Big respect! Great drive by Perez. Whats wrong with Lewis??

And what a crappy commentary on ESPN/SS by Slater(?). Next time I am going to mark his mistakes and send them to ESPN bosses. Please throw him out.

And that's how you do it. Alonso showed why he is the highest paid driver. Hope Ferrari improves the car by next race.

Re: 2012 F1 - Malaysian Grand Prix

Brilliant race. What a drive by Alonso!

Ferrari needed the rain so badly and Alonso did everything else. Wow!

Ferrari really need to give him a better car now.

I am very very happy for Peter Sauber as well. And Bravo Perez! I think he just landed a drive for Ferrari.

Awesome race!

Edit: BBC will be kicking themselves for letting F1 go in 2012. What a season its panning out to be. Bad bad Beeb.

Re: 2012 F1 - Malaysian Grand Prix

What an exciting race

The Hero for the day certainly is Sergio Perez, what a race by his Sauber. Awesome, cool and composed.

Massa is now a sore thumb in Ferrari camp, its time for him to go for sure. Ferrari aint going nowhere with him. Alonso show's what experience is, Awesome race by Alonso.

Kimi was superb, he's showing he's not lost out on his magic F1 touch inspite of being away from it.

Well Force India sure did a good job this race.

Mercedes seems to be gassing out after all the hype and hoopla since the pre-season testing, Nico Roseberg is fast fading out. Schumi's qualifying was fantastic, He's still good and made some places after his sad start. Sad for him to loose places after Grosjean mad an overenthusiastic move only to go out of the race, Schumi finished in championship points anyways. Michael needs prove his mettle the next race, which i am sure he will be gunning to go.

RBR's drama was pathetic ""BOX THE CAR..! BOX THE CAR..! pause DRIVE ON..! DRIVE ON ..! pause STOP THE CAR.! STOP THE CAR.! STOP THE CAR.! ITS AN EMERGENCY , ITS AN EMERGENCY..!""

Redbulls have been caught by its horns and they are no longer a threat this season.

Good to know, the season is unfolding so well. WoW.
