02 L. Hamilton McLaren 1:12.212 18 laps
03 H. Kovalainen McLaren 1:12.225 18 laps
04 F. Massa Ferrari 1:12.312 17 laps
05 S. Vettel Scuderia Toro Rosso 1:12.389 19 laps

so that makes Hamilton's statement true that his Mclaren is blindingly fast.

I guess Vettel too could possibly make it to the podium in case it rains hopefully we shouldnt see any crash of the title contenders.

I hate STAR Sports

....I seriously do.
The nail bitting qualifier's on and they are not showing it live :-(

Q1 is done now and the Ferrari's are running 1-2.They snatched it from the Mclaren duo.
Too bad we are not seeing all this live.
Does anyone have the link to any website which streams live videos??
All the usual suspects are out of Q1 ( Force India \ Williams and Button)

At least, its real time...........cheers:

EDIT: Heiki now on P1

EDIT 2: End of Q2 - Heiki-Vettel-Hamilton-Massa-Glock-Raikkonen;

Massa \ Trulli \ Kimi \ LH \ Heiki.
So all set for a grand finale.
The weather god's have smiled on the local boy so far...Hope they continue to smile tomorrow as well.
Forzaaaaaaaaaaaaa Ferrariiiiiiiiiiii

Mclaren \ LH have their task cut out. They would be looking worriedly at those two flats that LH had on friday's free practice.
Alonso starting right behind LH.That must be giving some people very bad dreams :-)

This is gonna be one hell of a race to end the season and today will be crowned the F1 WDC 2008.

My predictions:

Massa I feel may be running light on fuel. Massa will start aggressively and maybe in the end go on to take the top step on the podium at Brazil. But thats not enough. Hamilton looks to be running heavy on fuel. Was happy with the place he qualified. He only has to finish comfortably within the top 5.

Mclarens stratergy will completely favour them if it starts raining at Sao Paulo. With both of their drivers running heavy it will suit them to run their cars longer in wet conditions.

I know its pressure time for the contenders. Let the best driver win the WDC 2008. I am pinning my hopes on LH

Race results prediction:
1. Massa
2. Kimi
3. LH

If nothing goes wrong,
1. Massa
2. Raikkkonen
3. Hamilton
Lewis has to just keep his cool and hope for the best. He's in a much better position to win the WDC than Massa. Apart from making sure that he wins the race, Massa needs a lot of luck. If he does win, it will be great for him. If he dosen't I think he'll never get a chance again. I expect Raikkonen to make a comeback in 2009.

I agree with you. I personnaly feel this is Massa's only chance for the WDC 2008. Next year Kimi is going to bounce back. And then 2010, you never know with rumours of Alonso getting into Ferrari.

Man! Where does all this leave Hamilton? No more championship predictions for him?
:(
I hope he keeps his championship form in the next years too. Without him, F1 was half exciting.

I am really hoping Lewis does something stupid and crashes out or is awarded a penalty but realistically speaking, this championship is his. Can't wait to see the race tonight. Go Ferrari!
