Re: Mahindra XUV 500 - Moondust Silver - Loaded with chrome - first in Delhi

I really want a front bull guard sort of thing, would look classy on XUV.
Also maybe add a bar at the back.

Disclaimer: Just my humble opinion/suggestion and not intended to hurt you.

By adding so much of chrome and a bull bar in the front and one at the back, you're overdoing an already overdone design of XUV.

I guess we have not seen the latest pics of your car after adding some of the chrome bits. Do post some good pics and you might get better suggestions on what looks good or what will look better on the car.

My opinion is a big NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO to bull bars. It is a health hazard for you too as it wont engage the airbags in a situation. And dont forget how damaging it can be for the one at receiving end.

sure, latest is the pending headlight and taillight chrome which I managed to extract from Mahindra .
After waiting for 14 days , gave them a call and they confirmed that they have arrived . Funny thing they did not even bother to call and lemme know though I paid them at the time of delivery already
However it completes the chrome package
would post pics soon

You are right. But the fact is that Toyota sells bullbars as a standard accessory and have listed that in their website. So will the Airbags activate when this is used?

Attaching the pic & the link where I found this.

Toyota - Fortuner -- Click on the "Active Rugged" on the right side and you will see the details of the bull bar.

Very neat XUV, it's yet to be launched in Hyderabad, I have kept my plans for buying Civic or Vento on hold for XUV

I saw a XUV in Mumbai which looks very similar to yours. The only difference being that he had an additional chrome emblem put up in the rear below the XUV5OO saying "SPORTS"

Anyone notice the Beige Color in upper part in Black and Plum color interior.
It looks very ugly, why don't mahindra take care of this small colour issue.
They would have given some grey color to suits the Black and Plum interior.

There's a stanley boutique in Gurgaon in Grand Mall(The one with landmark) and Faridabad(Crown Mall) and Kirti Nagar. Check Stanley LifeStyles

Last time I checked for a Scorpio for a average range of leather they were charging around 40-50K for seats.

Thanks bro,
1.any other reasonable options with at par grace but lesser buck ? I guess finesse depends on fitter too to a large extent

2.Also, want bull bar for front with integrated foglamps maybe or what do you call those ones that cannot be shattered by baseball bat?

3.Also want rear bar and neat and sleek side rail for convinient egress

4. Also would like to go for another pair of LED strips to be placed on black honeycomb at center of each side of the bumper.

ALl above would make it a further shocker of an SUV. bling! bling!
