What are you going to do in stage 2 ? I already start saving money to buy tuning box.
stage 2 is just a higher setting on the tuning box. it should give 7-10 more bhp i think.

another peice of info -
santro zip plus can do 120 plus with a replacement K&N air filter and with Iridium spark plugs and MSD cables.
example: suren181 's santro zip plus.

installed the box with the second setting today.. i can make out the difference over the 1st setting.. the car feels much smoother and much more revv happy. the noise when revved is now more pleasing than disturbing.. the mileage ive been gettin is about the same. 10kmpl in mumbai traffic.

Side effects????

These boxes have a tendancy to raise exhaust gas temperatures. Anybody say anything to you about this possibility? I am not familiar with this product but I know in other countries people have cooked many a turbo, melted them, with these devices. In North America the use of such a box often voids the warranty also. Do not misunderstand me, I hope it works great but your thread has me curious.

Gosh it sounds scary! But thankfully Peter would've done some R&D for the Pete's here and he would warn us if anything of this would be to happen.

Anyway akshay1234, how's your pete'd Innova doing? Btw, have you fitted a switch inside the passenger cabin for switching between the 1 & 2 settings or its in the engine compartment only?

you can get a switch to put it off. i havent done that since i keep it on all the time. to change between the 3 settings you have to open the box and adjust something. very easy.

Great to hear about the performance of Pete's in Innova. How about the Mileage ? I'm interested in knowing Is there a projector Headlamp kit available for Innova?

now the box is back on the 1st setting. just had a slight problem where the car was being limited to 2750rpm in all gears. i thought it might be the tuning box so i took that off and it still happened. so i sent it to toyota and they said it was the air filter. i didnt believe them that the filter was choked so quickly (3000kms). then i met viper and we disconnected the filter and the car still seemed like it was choking. this time i sent it back to toyota with the stock air filter also. they attached the stock filter and the problem went away. the green filter was choked. and badly. i guess because the car had just been out of town on some rough roads in very dusty conditions. the dust would have caused that.

well then i ordered green filter cleaner and spent a good amount of time cleaning the filter. then installed the filter and the petes box. in the middle i had spoken to matthew. he told me to run the box on the first setting itself and if i needed more power then to put it on the 2nd setting.
