i just realised i havent mentioned the mileage. the car gives 9-10kmpl in the city inclusive of all the traffic. on the highways it gives between 14 and 16kmpl which IMO is pretty good. when pushed a bit or if theres loads of traffic for a few days then the car gives around 8kmpl in the city.

around 150 views but 3 comments.. seems people on this forum arent interested in the innova.

Nice review.

The Innova is a good family van, no doubt about it.

vary nice report @akshay. I have driven the car only once for about 200 Kms and oh boy I was impressed. it feels like travelling business class. the speedo touched 160 without much effort on the GQ and it stopped equally well.

in a sedan you would have to slow down considerably for the same bumps. the ride is a bit stiff owing to the potenza g3s.
Also due to the limited travel suspension. Overall, the ride is compliant and sufficiently comfortable (though not luxurious).

the only cars ride that would be luxurious this side of 15l would be the safaris. but that has excess body roll. id say the innova comes in 2nd.

i would prefer 20s with 30 profiles. the ride would be as good as the rr phantom then.

Sorry, MUV

OT: I remember that the Wagon R is projected as an MUV by Maruti. So be it.

Good review. I've been hearing though that Toyota quality is not what it used to be. Specifically, a pal was driven bananas by a faulty A/C that Toyota engineers just could not sort on his Corolla during the warranty period. In the end he simply has to live with it.
