There is a recent news paper article mentioning that the new super star Transport Commissioner of Kerala - Hrishiraj Singh has recommended speed limit for cars to be increased to 90 kmph on National Highways. This is under consideration.

Well, read that today in the online news too. But the bad part is these recommendations were done 3 years back!! And we still don't have an output!

Trick is to slow down just as you approach a camera trap and cross it within the designated speed limit and then again speed up .
Camera is positioned in such a way that they can take the snap of your vehicle when you cross it and not when you approach it .
Somebody even had developed a android app which can guide you about the camera traps but you need to stay online .
But you need to take caution with speed gun radar which traffic police often use on the Mannuthy(byepass) to Thalore stretch. They have the capability to take the pics of your handsome face with your car regn very quickly.

We have both types of camera in Kerala. There are the ones which take snap after you cross it and the ones that take snap when you approach it. I guess, swiftnfurious was caught by the 2nd type camera.

Nop, I was caught by the interceptor / camera operated manually by the police guys. The camera was strategically placed so that the lens was in-between the V-shaped trunk and rest was hidden behind the tree.
