re: Code6'd Fiat Linea MJD: 100,000 kms & Counting!!

Hey h14, Congratualtions for the Smashing White Italian Beauty

Can you post some pictures of the Interiors also ? i am more interested in seeing the pictures of the PVC Flooring which you have done, how much did it cost you ?

Also, can you comment on the Rear Seat Comfort, specifically speaking of the Sloping roof line, does it feel claustrophic for the rear passenger ? wanted to know your point of view.

Fuel consumption what you are getting are great, I never knew Linea would give such a figure.
Thanks camchennai. The Linea MJD is pretty capable of such figures. Couple of my friends have also reported such figures.

So your 161 mm has become 180.5 mm.... looks like there's something wrong with the calculations here.
Not sure if i've calculated it right here.
Thanks a lot AvinashKeezh. Please find the exact details sourced from the web. I will measure the GC now and let you all know.

Enjoy.
Thanks Sathya_sc. You are absolutely right. The joy is unlimited with these cars. Sunday, I just completed Coimbatore-Chennai in my Palio MJD. Cruised at 130 and even 140 in some open streatches and know what, it returned me 21.5 for the drive.

Thank you varun. BTW, no run-in peroid for the MJD though.

Thanks sharma_sanjeevi. Will put up the interior pictures next week when I get to Coimbatore. The PVC flooring was done for Rs.2600. Reg the rear seat, definitely people 5'9" and above will feel uncomfortable. People up to 5'7" had no issues in the car till now.

H14, Congratulations on your new acquisition. Happy to see the sixth FIAT now. Looks like FIAT has been a member of your family since ages.

Please do share some pictures of the Interiors of the Linea and also some pictures of previous FIATs which were apart of your memories till now.

My calculations stand then.
From the attachment, there's a difference of 19.5 mm in diameter and hence a direct increase in the GC. A GC of 180mm is pretty good, I'm not sure why FIAT couldn't do it themselves since we've had so many people complain about the low GC on Linea.

AvinashKeezh, its a circle, so the GC increase would be equal to the increase in radius and not diameter. So the GC now would be around 170mm.

re: Code6'd Fiat Linea MJD: 100,000 kms & Counting!!

Thank you for your wishes GreenDay, AvinashKeezh, shk 8896 & Autocop.

Upgraded the speakers last week. Installed 6.5" Auditor components up front and 6.5" Auditor co-axials in the rear. Also installed ecoDrive successfully.

Time for some more pictures as promised.

@theexperthand, thanks. Well, I actually missed clicking the components. The picture posted is the co-axial. The components cost Rs.6000 and the co-axials cost Rs.3000.

re: Code6'd Fiat Linea MJD: 100,000 kms & Counting!!

oops, my bad. did not pay attention to the picture properly - when I read co-axials, the mental image I had was of a 6X9, so I automatically thought the picture was the midbass of the front components. Should have paid more attention to the picture. Duh!
