I'll check it out. I used to drive only in comfort mode. Does the automatics save the way we drive the vehicle. If so, is there any default factory mode for the transmission? While depressing the accelerator should I need to depress all the way down including that switch on the floor of the accelerator pedal?

Hi, when did you take the delivery of your E class? How is the vehicle? Please do share your review about the car with few pics. Hope you had a nice experience with Bridgeway.

Yes depress it till you feel the switch being pressed and keep it there.

The transmission does adapt to the way the vehicle is driven. So sometimes if it is driven in a lazy manner in lots of traffic, for days at an end. You will find the transmission shifting becoming a bit clunky, and that the upshifts happen earlier, etc.

This will restore it to defaults, and make it re learn.

Thank you so much. But is there any difference in transmission for C220 and E 250? The manual says both are 7G tronic. Is it a dual clutch transmission?

My E 250 completed one year of ownership yesterday. First service was done from Bridgeway Calicut. The total bill came Upto 37k.

May seem like a basic question, but for luxury cars (Mercedes, BMW, Audi etc.) isn't the first 3 years service 'free' / 'paid for' along with initial purchase price?

Thanks in advance.

Thanks in advance.

There are no such free services for the above mentioned vehicles.

Hope you have taken a comprehensive service package for you E250.
Will be useful if you keep running those 200+ horses often.

Happy motoring

Happy motoring

I thought of going for it but my annual running is comparatively low so I opted out. It's worth only if your running is above 20k kms annually.

I want to take a moment to thank everyone who has contributed to this thread. I've just bought a pre worshipped W212 2014 CDI 250. This thread along with the others on this forum have helped me to make an informed decision.
Much appreciated.
