Re: Contessa story from Thrissur. My muscle car!

Cool rims you got there...My conti is also up for painting soon and is currently being tinkered on.The Contessa being very unique in styling from the modern day cars, will attract attention whatever color its painted .So go for a color which you are comfortable with and you think is best for bringing out the muscle in your Conti. The way i see there are two opinions- going for the retro classic 'luxury car of old times look' with subtle colors like- white,maroon,cream..etc-most elderly folks will suggest these colors as they will be having fond memories of watching Mohanlal or Mammooty driving around Contessas in the old films! The other obvious choice is the 'American muscle car' type of paint scheme involving black, red, blue, yellow, orange ...etc with pinstripes or flames on the sides.Driving around in such a car would be the dream come true for many.so its more or like choosing a formal or casual attire for your car, just that with the latter there are no rules !

To try out paint options you can visit- DuPont Hot Hues Paint Shop. Spend too much time there and you will go !!!

Waw, is that the final look? Do post more pics to see how it is looking from all angles.
IMO the tyre profile are not going well, they are protruding out in an unshapely manner. However, the first looks seem damn good. Is BRATZ your patented name saw it on your military styled Jeep too and a fine one too.

Have you thought about brighter colours like a electric bluee or canary yello with black or white stripes running all the way from the hood to the boot??

Any upgrades or mods planned for the engine?? All the best mate.
Just fitted a free folw exhaust for the diesel conti and it sounds weird now!

Wow nice ride! One of my favs.
Any way, can it not be lowered a bit from rear end?
Bigger rear wheels may be 18 or 19inch? Any power upgrades?

Re: Contessa story from Thrissur. My muscle car!

foby sebastian- i think the contessa woulda been looking better if you had used slimmer tyres , this looks more like an suv tyres on a car, and the extra indicators could have been avoided and please the huge sticker on windshield should really be removed.

I mirror desigNation's thoughts. The car has come out brilliantly, and the suggestions above will very nicely compliment the overall effort.

Could the OP please shed some light on the rim specs, PCD and such or if adapters were used?

The tyres are just OK, but you need to add flares to hide the protrusion. Else, looks weird.

Also, as many suggested, please remove the sticker in the windshield. I hope the body finish is as good as its seen in the pictures, or else, with matt black, it shows out the imperfections.

btw, what are the performance/suspension mods?
