Somehow, it looks to me like an fat guy with sports shoes

The new Octavia seems to be simply too large and bulky to be sporty - or will lowering help matters?

Oh you will be surprised. Raced a stock octavia 2.0tdi mt on BIC and the car was stuck to me in corners, posting a laptime 4 secs behind me. Extremely impressive for a stock car.

Oops! My bad - should have been more precise. I just feel the car 'Looks' too large to be sporty. It is undeniably luxurious.
It would be really stupid of me, if I mock the power plants it has or its dynamics

Appreciate his effort and intention, and thanks for the information buddy

We are talking about tastefully modified cars here and that sticker on that car definitely doesn't make that car tasteful visually. So information about the sticker wont matter much regarding my opinion on the car's visual appearance.

If a car having an after market exhaust can be in this thread, then most of the Sports/super cars can be here.

The 370z has invidia cat back exhaust, injen intake installed. On order are stillen front bumper, mishimoto oil cooler, and stillen transmission cooler. The damn thing is has overheated every time on the track. Bad front end design combined with our climate. Still managed to pull off a 2.36 with the issues. Brake cooling ducts will also be fabricated into the bumper, as that is also an issue here.

As for the sticker, its a one time thing meant to show support to the girls that they do mean a lot and not just tokenism charity.

The body kit is pretty neat and all the stuff looks top-notch. So is the fitting but according to me, making a Fiat look sporty, is an art that one would be a fool to dive into, without any practice.

Those low, chunky, angular side-skirts, the low-hanging, now square-ish and thick rear bumper, and the roof rails, do reek of quality but they don't do those bright reflector headlights, cheese-grater grille and flowing yet solid lines, justice.

Now Megan Fox, Milla Jovovich, they would all look fine in a pair of UGGs but I simply cannot imagine Monica Belucci wearing them

I am aware that quite a few others might find this tastefully done just voicing my opinion

Wow. One of the best wheels I've seen on a Punto in a long long time. I'd lose the roof rails though.

Cheers,
Cartman.

Re: PICS : Tastefully Modified Cars in India

Surprised to see no new posts. Anyway here's a Gypsy that I believe is done up quite admirably. Note the lamps integrated into the front bumper/bull bar. Excessive lighting apart, this is one of the neatest jobs I've seen on a Gypsy

Do not like the body kit. Its a bit too loud for my taste. Something subtle would go really well. The car will look good as it is, especially with those wheels.
