Hi Ashkait,

Here comes another one! It looks like Aarush sir is experimenting with 2-tone shades very seriously. First the Laura and now this Swift. I really love the headlamps of this car right from the time I saw it's teaser on FB page of Autopsyche. Black and Red has been a deadly combo of colors.

A decent attempt in my view. Thanks for sharing.

OT: I was keeping an eye on the release of this car's pics on the FB page.

Re: PICS : Tastefully Modified Cars in India

Just logged in to post the Swift in Advan livery, looks like you beat me to it Ashkait

The one thing I don't like, is to see that this is an Lxi/Ldi model which is what it looks like from the indicator-lacking ORVMs and the missing fog light on the rear bumper. Was this made for a company? In which case this sets a bad example for kids out there who are still under the mindset that it is better to save up for modifications on a new car by opting out of buying a variant with safety features

Gorgeous looking Swift !! Loved the color scheme and the lips, spoilers...basically everything.

One last request - Can someone go and rip off those Yokohama decals from everywhere where it is pasted, unless Yokohama has paid a bomb for modifying the car and advertising their brand. It simply takes away all the charm of a tastefully modified car.

I had a doubt regarding the vehicles twin pipe exhaust system, if this vehicle if an LDi variant with a turbo diesal, what is the point of having a modified exhaust? Does it to contribute to any improvement other than a cosmetic appeal ?

The owner of this car is a stickler for clean cars I guess, works in my company. He used to own a Ford Ikon and the car always was sparkling clean and this civic is no different.

This civic is parked here in office as i type this and is spotless.

Simply amazing looking Swift here! this is how a Swift has to look !

But doesnt the car look like it is stooping forward a little too much? However, the gaps above the wheels seem to be consistent only..!

Re: PICS : Tastefully Modified Cars in India

SS80's should be left alone, unless you're Chip Foose. Keeping a gleaming, stock exterior, one can always go about perfecting the stance with some appropriate wheels, tires and a some suspension tune-up, instead of bolting on some hideous, crude bodywork that degrades it's charm.

Does this Laura have a real quad exhaust or is one of them a dummy?

Sharing a few pics of my friends' Contessa ( pics saved from their Facebook albums ).
They bought the car in a Govt auction and turned it into a sort of General Lee.
