on the other hand there is Total tools pressure washer which is consumer grade but only 24 bar. All the 18v-20v pressure washers peak out at around 24 bar as can be seen from the Black & Decker and Ingco models also below.

then there is Makita pressure washer which gives you 80 bar

Crazy high pricing for 70 bar/80 bar washers

Hi
Were you able to finalise on a cordless pressure washer?
I have the same requirement since I live in an apartment where there no access to power socket in the parking. Also looking at something which can be used in travel as well.

Let me know if you had any luck.

Thanks

Re: Buying & Using a Pressure Washer

Purchased Bosch Aquatak 125 bar pressure washer from Amazon. Good performance so far. The only precaution to be taken is not to run the washer continuously for more than 10 minutes. If run for longer duration, there is a burning smell coming from the motor. The advantage of Bosch over other local brands is, Bosch delivers the output pressure that it promises. Other companies may say 150 bar but they do not give the actual output.

Re: Buying & Using a Pressure Washer

Hi guys,

I have a starq w4 pro washer. I'm looking to have the oil changed and serviced. Is there any place in the suburbs that will do it because starq is very far from my place.

I am also using Bosch Advanced Aquatak 140 (140 BAR 2100W) INDUCTION MOTOR. This is a very good machine which can be used for all purpose like washing terrace, parking, driveway, cars and 2-wheelars. Only caution, do not use it on kids cycles as it will peel off all the stickers in one go.
Try to buy it from Bosch dealer not from eCommerce, I got it at 23500 while Amazon it was showing 27,999.

close your eyes & go for this. A slight sacrifice on pressure may be required but quality will not be lacking. Total is a solid brand

Re: Buying & Using a Pressure Washer

Pathetic service from Karcher.
I bought a K2 Compact pressure washer from Karcher website. They delivered a unit but none of the part was in proper packing. The user manual and the holding clips were missing. The waster also with lot off scratches. Immediately I sent a mail to customer care with the photos. Other than the automated reply, no response so far. I contacted the customer care as well. They repeatedly saying someone from the concern department will contact soon. No one contacted until now. Not sure, what do to further. Could you people please advise what to do further?

Re: Buying & Using a Pressure Washer

Hi All,

I am in the market for a pressure washer. There are lots of options out there and each one of them has mixed reviews.

Any help as to what i should buy? I have a car and a bike at home and would like to wash them atleast once a month

In 60000, you can get 120 washes by a professional car washer. Why to spend this much and also spend a couple of hours for each wash? A professional car wash will include underbody, interior vacuuming, shampoo wash and proper whipping of water using a microfiber cloth. People buy these kinds of stuff and very soon it is just lying in one corner of your house.
I have also Bosch Advance Aquatec 140(worth 24K from Bosch Dealer while Amazon sells at 27500) and hardly used 5-6 times in last two years.

Each to their own. I have a Karcher K4 Basic bought for the princely sum of 17K and it is invaluable. I use it to pressure wash the cars, our extensive terracotta tiled roofs, terrace, bathrooms, garage and the common area immediately in front.

Find uses for it!

The joy of spending a few hours washing your own car or motorcycle is akin to gardening, painting your fence, cooking your own meals or other similar mentally less intensive but physically intensive tasks. If approached the right way, It is almost a form of wakeful meditation if I can call it that.

The dopamine reward system that kicks in immediately after you having spent the physical effort to do the job and see a clean car or driveway is invaluable as a win and resets any depressory losses that your mind might be clinging onto. The physical excercise is also fantastic.

Dont underestimate such things. It is probably one of the top 5 activities you can do regularly for better mental health.
