Re: My VW Polo GT TSI - Modified

The Polo GT TSI is my dream car, and I'm gonna upgrade from my 1.2P someday soon soon soon. But you've spoiled it a bit for me already. I know I'll want most of these mods too, especially the mechanical ones, and the thought of the Vitamin M I will require is causing me to break out into a sweat.

Enjoy your wheels. I hope I'll see her at a Team BHP meet soon.

Re: My VW Polo GT TSI - Modified

Saint. You have a beautiful car there. I'm tempted to sell off my vento TDI and go for this. I'm sure if I sell the vento, that money would just about cover for the upgrades like yours. Anyway, wonderful taste, wonderful execution and, you took it up Rohtang pass..!! Respect, brother. Would love a video showing the exhaust and more importantly, the sound. Pls oblige.
Drive safe,
Arrive safe. Cheers.

Wow. Your car is surely a looker!!

Just a question though. God forbid, if the airbag needs to be deployed won't the GTI emblem come in the way?

Re: My VW Polo GT TSI - Modified

The list of mods needs an excel sheet to remember. Amazing work, specially the paddle shifters. Get the grills for the Hella 500ff's, I ll look very nice. I have the same 500ff's at the same spot on my Swift with grills and Hella written on them in the center, looks very chick.

Also the red VW emblem in the front and red looks a bit overdone, the chrome original factory one IMO would have looked nice.

Also the spoiler looks out of place, some cars just don't get along with a spoiler, even the Swift looks awkward with one.

Hey, its just my opinion, no offence

Re: My VW Polo GT TSI - Modified

You can watch the video of my car from manali to leh, you will get an idea of the exhaust, air intake sound and see the breaking as well. Maybe you want to use headphones to get better sound. Enjoy.

Cheers

Re: My VW Polo GT TSI - Modified updated

just an exciting update, as it was like a dream come true for me, my first participation with my GT and also in life, I thought of sharing with all you folks.

There were more than 15 categories out of which 8 amateur categories.

Achieved the following:

1. Winner- Fastest Amateur

2. 1st Runners up - amateur mod petrol open category.

I am attaching all the pics of us in action for your reference.

Re: My VW Polo GT TSI - Modified

Congratulations Saint. How did the car feel on that surface? Give us a bit more detail into your experience during the event and how the car behaved as well.

Your car was a winner before the event but now you have the trophies to actually complement it. :-)

Thanks a lot, as you would have seen from the pic that the track was mud, grass, stones and slush, I drove the car with traction on, while it helped the car to have full control on the bends and was able to keep them tight, but few places it didn't help as the electronics were cutting off and not transmitting the power to the wheels (sections which had lots of slush/mud .. but I must say the traction helped a lot.

Some of the bends were taken with the hand brake as well and some turns I experienced controlled side drifting which was so much fun. For this car tarmac track is ideal for good performance, but I was pleasantly surprised with the way the car handled in dirt, it was truly amazing.

I am in love with this car forever
