Just one suggestion, though I'm quite sure Satish would've told you the same...keep the performance mods to the minimum as theres very little that you could do to a 1000 to get it scorching roads, unless of course, you're looking at an engine swap.

Going by the condition of the car, I see it costing anywhere close to 25k for a body repair / cosmetic makeover.

and keep us updated on stage by stage progress of the car
I must thank you Jai for referring him, Yes i must admit his very detailed inspection & very professional work,

Man you must see the post tinkering & primer WIP and i couldn't believe pre & post tinkering outcome. outstanding very detailed work.

As of now i don't have any idea interms of engine mods, now i just want to take her in a good running condition with mild make over like painting, interior, and special thanks to Mr.Murali i got a replica of MOMO steering wheel thats all.

EDIT
Can also please suggest color, i have passion red in my mind, else should i go with original color

Passion Red would be the apt colour for this car and hence please go ahead. Keep us updated on the progress you make with the car in terms of its paintwork. It would be great if you could also share more details on the workshop/owner etc so that it would benefit the Chennai BHPians.

P.S: The yellow putty applied I suppose is from 3M, correct?

Is this TopGear garage located near a road bend(near a subway) in saidapet, I've seen some imports(celica, old grand vitara, mazda miata) there and always wanted to know the quality of work done there.

pulsar7778: Great going. Red looks good, but tends to fade very quickly. You can choose any other color of your choice. Are you looking for a decent color or wanted to be different form the crowd.

Yeah my mech Mr.Sathish also said to go for a descent color, and not to show off, but since i already decided RED Color from my child hood, when this car was out i was 9 , hence going for RED.
