Looks like a rain water harvester!

See, all the water falling on the windscreen and bonnet would get collected there.

OT: look at the sheer size of the Safari! Indica looks tiny in comparison.
Its actually a bug deflector/ bug guard .It is supposed to prevent the bugs from hitting the windscreen (dont ask me how ..lol) Saw them installed on allmost all SUVs in Melbourne.

Please dont tell me you took my rain water harvesting post seriously.

Thanks for the info, actually i didnt know it was a bug deflector, though water collection thingy was a poor attempt at a joke.

Hey that esteem body is mounted on top of Gypsy underpinnings!! Weird.. yes, Whacky..... yes, but very original there wont be another one like this in India. It looks okay and can be made nicer.

Edit:The wheels should've been slightly offset and the rear bumper skirting a little better designed to make it look better.

I wonder how stable that esteem gypsy is. Any turns over 40kmph will have the cross-pollinated vehicle doing 2 wheel stunts like in the saudi. I think the guy wanted it to look like a monster truck.

here is another contribution from my side. Saw this Fiesta with a body kit and on the body kit were twin exhaust pipes - completely fake pipes.

Anyway here it is. Pics taken from my cell Sony Ericsson W700i. Location - Chetpet bridge, Chennai.

Arey that esteem is a concept from Maruti...
They will be available if the road conditions dont improve..We need to have something high enough with big wheels to travel na..

By the way isnt the esteem shortened??Look at the reard door..
Wonder why he did it?? Would look much better as a 2 door...
I like the concept..Some more changes to the design..and he can compete with DC!!hahaha!!
