That is what he would say wouldn't he. Or maybe it was sold to him like that cause he would not buy a bug whatever.

No way man. No way does it look nice. Rather, it looks like someone got his ends confused when fixing the spoiler.

The Countach must be singing:

Can't say I don't want it
'Cause he really put it on me
In a way that I don't know
If I'm going or coming

(due apologies to Carlos Santana / Jennifer Lopez / Baby Bash)

Should have asked this question in my post showing the Countach pic:
What purpose does that front spoiler on the Countach serve, if any?

That pic didn't make sense to me and neither did it look photoshopped. So i did a lot of google searching and came up with this answer. It seems that in the early days, texas (USA) had a particular law about car bumper heights... so the importer just did this mod as a bumper (rather than to provide downforce) to get the car registered in the continental united states. Another pic below with similar rods sticking out for attaching the spoiler.

That also probably explains the wierd looking external rear view mirror on the red Lambo. I think external review mirror was compulsory in those days in the USA.

@omishra - You cant really call that weird and wacky. It is just a "blow the occupant's ear drums mobile". Similar to our very own Evil JBL Twins.

@OMISHRA - That could very well be a DEMO CAR. But if it ain't, then people coming up behind him better not take the trouble to honk
