It's "called" a shark tail antenna and is a dummy in this case. Mercs and BMWs have these...
But i think it doesn't look all that bad in general. Especially since i have one installed on my OHC.
Doesn't suit the santro though.

the antenna is not bad but doesn't do justice specially cause the santro has a spoiler.i guess these mini add on mods are way too common now.

Sorry for going OT.
Jaya,we were talking about how everything changes when you come to Texas. People are known to modify cars to suit their needs, and 98% of the time those cars are worthy of being featured on this thread. In short, rednecks( slang for country bred/people from the Southern states of the US) are notorious for these mod jobs. The African-American crowd follow close behind with it comes to pathetic mod jobs.

But is the antenna functional?I've seen a bunch of cars with the shark fin antennae, but none of them work.

NO it's not. It's just a plastic body with 3M tape prestuck on one side. Just peel and paste!

Check out a few pages before where I posted a car with a chain for a steering. Do you know that you can track posts by clicking the small white arrow in the red square next to the quoted post?

Anyways, I do not know the make of the car, but I find it with some of the Mexican's here. 1970's vintage, I would think.

saw the weirdest looking gypsy last week. This guy had the spoiler fitted onto the bonnet and that too in the reverse, can you imagine how that would have looked. This was near madiwala circle.
