How about this?
Also spotted an open-top Cielo with a cloth-hanger at the rear. Could not click the pics though.

I must admit, this has been a must visit thread when boredom strikes..
You simply get refreshed by the fantastic ideas people think "cool".

Just one query though: How do you make sure that the axle stay on the trolley

re: Pics of weird & wacky mod jobs in India!

Now I am sure no picture can beat this one. It is simply the king of weird and wacky mod jobs I spotted this vehicle (or am I mistaken) near the Besant Nagar beach today at around 5 in the evening. Racing Machine is written on the rear windscreen. Sorry for the poor pic quality as I had taken the pic from my 5800 with zoom.

^^ I think there must be a stopper or a sort of positive lock arranged on the trolley-axle interface.

Look closely, it is the same one which is featured in the post here: http://www.team-bhp.com/forum/collec...ml#post1972981

But wacky enough none the less, and oh!!! what a way to destroy a magnificent car!

Looks like Clarkson has inspired many in India. That is, by far, one of the worst modifications on any car in India, IMO.

Yup, I had posted this earlier (thanks for the ling WAG7!). Kaush666, where in Besant nagar did you catch it this time? It was parked in Besant Nagar (Near Kalakshetra) when I clicked it.

Saw this trendy Chevy Beat in Madurai the other day. Looks very very wacky to me. A big thumbs down !!

re: Pics of weird & wacky mod jobs in India!

The OHC - Is this car used to get into the sea and catch fish? Why would someone create a rear like that?!

^^ //M - The Beat was at Milan'em Mall right? I saw that car too. IMHO it was overdone but it doesn't meet the standards to enter this thread esp after seeing the OHC!

I've seen smoked tail lamps but this one is PAINTED in black!

re: Pics of weird & wacky mod jobs in India!

The Beat is done by a guy called Arun who runs a mod shop. The interiors has been done up as well in a combo of Red, Silver and Black. The paintjob on the dash looks good with the exterior color theme being dragged into it. The roof mouldings, seat covers and boot mats are also done up in Red which looks a bit gaudy to be honest. The spoiler and the head/tail lamp(paintjob) spoils the fun though. Could have also done without that "Turbo" logo at the rear, infact, debadging would have looked better.
He had quoted Rs.15k for the dashboard job only. Will try to post a pic of the dash if i can find it.
