That's indeed a Cielo. I'll get you more snaps of that this week. I dont know the owner personally but he turns up near my office frequently. Never managed to click a snap though.

One of the latest contraptions doing rounds in the roads of Trivandrum. He's got a smoked (till black) headlamps, several white colored lights and LEDs in the front. Car is loud and he's got worse driving manners - had seen him overtaking few times involving high risk, once driving a panicked scooter guy off the road, also noticed him going through extreme right and stopping almost sideways in front of a red light line-up of other vehicles, so that he can be the first one to take off.

^^That design on the boot is looking like fishnet stocking. Their reported driving antics are contradicting their bumper sticker or is it supposed to be joke?

I have seen numerous Optras being given such treatment (read ugly customization), is the low cost of used examples is one factor for this?

Its a Daewoo Cielo and not an Optra . Its clearly evident by the B pillars .

I don't think so that its a Daewoo Cielo, clearly from the tail lamps, pillars, side mirrors and bumpers its a Chevrolet Optra.

It is clearly a Daewoo Cielo. Please refer the picture posted by powertrain. The body lines are a perfect match. It just have the tail lights of an Optra.

same here. i saw the initial pic. but i thought it was an optra because i i had seen it in the garage and the guy said it was an optra and i blindly believed him.
