re: Pics of weird & wacky mod jobs in India!

Obsession with a colour is bad. If it's Yellow, its even worse. If its on a 17-lakh rupee car, I have no words.

I don't know mate, the bodywork looks awesome to me, and the gaudy yellow kind of supports the bodywork.

Lets just hope the engine on this is modded appropriately too, otherwise all that work with nothing under the hood to support it would be like watching Virender Shewag do singles.

Boss, just think about the poor car, and count the number of holes which must have been drilled into the body to fix all those add-ons. We think twice if any thing is to be added to the car,and tell the mechanic to locate any available stud or bolt so that no holes need to be drilled.
For those curtains too he must have drilled holes in the plastic trims inside the car for those HOOKS to hold the plastic rope or plastic coated spring rope.

It says Bugati Aran? A competitor to the Veyron, I suppose.

Thank you.

Indeed.

Just a few minutes walk away from Elphinstone Road Station / Parel Station.

In the 1 way street that begins at Deepak Talkies. Just a few shops ahead of the Nokia service centre and the outside that building under construction.

(next time will geotag the pics)

If you post a pic of your vehicle in this thread you are sure to get some comments(even though its not w&w). Its your fault for parking your bike next to the Scorpio.

Newer cars like the XUV have a feature called cornering lamps which illuminate a light within the headlight on the direction that the car is turned in. For eg, if he turns right, there is a separate bulb inside the right headlight which comes on to illuminate the corner. Very useful in parking in dark areas.

Obviously in the Wagon R it would be operated by a switch, but shows to what extent he has gone to modify the car.

Would be just perfect as a moving ad for any upcoming restaurant specialising in grills/BBQs.

Absolutely pointless as a style modification or performance enhancer! What's the objective here? Free fresh air for the engine or for its occupants?

Spotted this very wierd looking Hyundai Accent @ Bangalore, Brigade road, with a very very large rear spoiler, which exactly did what its name stands for.

Looks like it's about to pounce! What is it anyway?

Headlights are from an Alto and the bumper looks like it's from a Honda City Type2. Can't make out the rest from the photos...
