re: Pics of weird & wacky mod jobs in India!

Just saw this 'Mustang' today. Is it a real car or a modified one?? It had white racing stripes and a dual tip Magnaflow Exhaust (it seemed to be Magnaflow) which was almost 2-3 inches over and beyond the length of the car. While overall workmanship seemed fine but I am not too sure whether I like it or not.

The one pic of the rear is from a very unusual angle.
If we had some candid pics, workmanship aside, then probably it might be easier to decide which thread it ends up in...
I've seen this car on the ring road, with a UP-16 (Noida) registration. It is actually very well done, definitely not just lipstick on a pig.

From a distance it is hard to even make out that this is actually a Safari, only the side view gives it away.

On closer inspection of the pic it seems like a LHD. The front and rear looked like the '60s-'70s mustang and had badges on the sides too. Although I had never seen such a car before, hence was not too sure in which section to post this pic.

The skoda looks like a nicely done thing for a purpose. May be for the filming of the actors in a luxury car. The modification looks more in tune with the safety of the persons inside than mere purpose of looking different.

Here's a pic from the Supercars & Exotics in Mumbai Facebook page.

This question came to my mind the second I saw this. Usually they use a pickup truck. But, what if it was the focal car in a film or in a car race sequence? Rather than modifying an existing car, they could very well drive this alongside another car in a race sequence, or even for a regular city road sequence, where the pickup will lose due to its lack of agility & generally, bigger dimensions.

From an artistic point of view, I love it. Kinda know how hard it to paint something like that when I have done similar designs for a T-shirt.

Do not know whether if this was posted earlier . One of the many ways to spoil our very own Indian muscle car i.e Contessa . This poor Contessa gets an accent treatment for its rear , front too seems to have accent headlights . Sad to see such beauties being spoilt .

Looks like this car's paint got inspired by the Candy Mercedes which I had posted in the Tastefully done up Cars in India thread and the one which Steeroids.in featured.

This car is yet to get the Bodykit,Wheels and loose all the chrome.

Real Mustang she is...1976 i guess. Surely this thread is not a place for her, even though she was not a looker as her predecessors/successors.

This Octavia is the perfect choice for a high speed chase scenes. Me also think its a crew car.

Looks like a black Accord (not a City thank you very much!) had some extensive stickering work done to make it look like a Dubai Police squad car.

The man has managed to get a mention in a lot of website, including those of newspapers in the UAE. Senseless prank, yes. But he's probably grinning from ear to ear and his friends might be thinking of other ways to better this!
