That's not a mod, per se. I mean its more of a necessity than a look-at-me.
The spoiler on the logan though, that's something new there. Did he leave it in the sun too long?

There are 2 things I want to take away from that Pick-up truck - It's double barrel headlamps and its smoking hot alloys! Very neatly done! I think most probably it is done by VW themselves.

Also, it'll be a heartbreaker if you go post this on the official VW Vento thread!

I agree - i like the pick up version of Vento. Looks like someone actually took the time to design it before executing.

re: Pics of weird & wacky mod jobs in India!

The pickup version of the Vento actually looks half good.
Why half? Well, the finishing could've been much better. Had they added a glass at the back of the cabin, it would've been more correct, aesthetically.
Plus the loading bay can certainly see more work. Too much of white there. Add some of black, probably, and it shall look decent.

Loved the headlamps and the alloys.
The alloys are actually drool worthy. But, in all honesty, find the tyres to be puny.

re: Pics of weird & wacky mod jobs in India!

Spotted a modded Nano couple of mins back. Sorry no pics. Some mods that I noticed.

1) Huge luggage carrier on the roof.
2) Huge bullbars (similar to the ones found on scorpio that extends to the headlights)
3) www.japantuning.com sticker on the bonnet.
4) And a list of the usual stickers on the front doors - brembo, sparco, NOS etc.

And something that caught my eye

A Look @ the merc-swift left my head spinning. How could someone do this? The merc grill along with those long white scratch protection straps and the poorly executed fog lamps, makes this as a weirdest car of the month! Just look @ the silver swift beside and one realizes that a car is @ its best in the stock look.

The questions are- why would one want to do this? Who would want to do this? And how can one drive this after looking at the finished product?

You get within 2kms of Karol Bagh, you'll start spotting Majorly worked upon cars, most of which can get complementary passes to this thread.
You think of a cosmetic mod, this is the place to go. Unfortunately what people want to get done is sometimes like that swercedes.

My friend had spotted this Merced-up-Swift a couple months back on the Gurgaon Highway.
It has to be one of the worst mods in the area, just look at those white bumper guards!

Love that Pick-up Vento!

Looks cool and would have been a hot one if there was black paint in the car. Whole on white looks ok. May be the loading bay should have been black.

As for the Swercedes. Damn the owner. I mean how do they even tell the shop fellow to make such a MOD to a swift and drive such ones proudly on the road?! What is it that is going on in their minds when they think of such MODS!
