re: Pics of weird & wacky mod jobs in India!

Hello Team, Good Evening, Today saw this VW Polo at TGIP petrol pump. The spoiler and exhaust tips ruined the look. The present exhaust tips should be replaced with chrome double funnel exhaust tip. Also a roof lip spoiler would have been better.

Regards

Seems more like a baby of Maruti 1000 and an 800. Must have taken huge efforts. Everything beyond the drivers seat including the wheel base seems to be changed or is it the case that just the front is borrowed from M800 and the rest from a sedan?

Sorry for the poor picture quality, was taken in the evening.
Here is a "chromed" Cruze with 7 Series tail lamps.

That's a wrap. And the tail lamps are standard.

Those are BMW styled tail lamps for the Cruze. Quite popular too. Here is a T-BHP link for these - http://classifieds.team-bhp.com/buy-...ad-Light.html/

There are Merc styled ones also available, here is a T-BHP link to them - http://classifieds.team-bhp.com/buy-...ail-lamp.html/

Yeah, Its quite common in kerala too. It's being provided as an after market fitment by the dealer. One of my friends switched over his head lamps and the tail lamps to the BMW styled ones. Unfortunately his Cruze caught fire due to an electric short circuit. Chevy has rejected his warranty on the grounds that the lamps had been changed.
I have posted it in the following thread:

A wacky color scheme on this Reva. IMO looks better than the regular single tone Reva!

If i remember right, this was one of the Revas that was painted at the Khala Ghoda festival in Mumbai quite a few years back. I think the car was then sold/auctioned to raise money for charity.

In other news, a similarly painted Nano just sold for 15+ Lakhs 1 week ago. This was not for charity

It can be KA xx as well. A click on the link confirms the same.

Anyways, my mind doesn't like it, or maybe I am not like-minded as the owner. I would give it a pass.
