First one looks like a Mitsubishi Montero, going by door profile! Check it out in the pic here. If it is so, that is a horrible way to ruin a perfectly good looking car.

EDIT: Ah Thanks guys for clarification. Didn't look into the all elements of the profile except for door shapes, my bad! It indeed looks like a Gateway!

Back to the thread topic, what a way to waste a perfectly good looking Thar!

Thankfully, it does not appear to be a Montero. Thankfully!!

Look at the rain gutters over the doors. Montero doesn't have them. To me it looks like either the Scorpio or the Scorpio Getaway.

Edit: Seems like I posted at the same time as Mr.Boss and sourabhzen. Agree with them about this being a Scorpio/Scorpio Getaway.

This seems to be Mahindra Gateway. Design is confusing, esp the bonnet, bumper and the last glass area.

However, the bus looks kind of cool. Looking at the window layout, this has to be a vanity van or an RV. Seems like it's yet to be finished and painted.

That hard top is by Delhi-based Big Daddy Customs.
The cost of the Hydrau Top customization is INR 2.75 lakhs (INR 2 lakhs for a fixed top).

This car may not exactly qualify as a wild or wacky job but the phenomenal love for chrome has really left me baffled.

I have seen owners put chrome all over their car but this one went a step ahead and even got a chrome wiper blade. Couldn't see the front but I will not at all be surprised if those wiper blades also had a dash of chrome!

Nippon Toyota in Cochin has their own version of Chromonnova for display here. That apparently happens to their test drive 2.8L. Chromatized Innovas are a regular sight in Northern Kerala.

The car never deserved such an overdose. Do not know what is with this owners who are always on such loads of chrome on cars which are otherwise good looking.

We all know Mercedes and TATA had a past. This guy gets an AMG Indica to the streets of Delhi. No TATA logo and the Mercedes badge on the bumper!
