Now that I am seriously considering a TCed Cedia or OHC 1.5 - wonder if this car (My Newly Modded Lancer) will have to be sold. it is a great fun drive & looks good. Such are life's dilemas - tough call

Don't sell the Lancer so soon dude. You just spent some major time, effort and money giving her a facelift and extra horses.
Enjoy her for a while before moving on (statement restricted to cars only

Hey Razor

Quite honestly I don't wanna sell my car UNLESS I get my price. I just want to have some serious power - coz the "power" that the car is giving is nothing mindboggling. I may look at the MIVEC route if a decent engine is available. There is a 200 bhp automatic Mitsubishi available, but I am not too keen on an auto, plus that involves new engine mounts etc. I'd rather wait for a MIVEC which I am told is a bolt on - low maintainence setup. Let us see what happens.........for all you know I may do up a CEDIA

or an RS

Dekho kya hota hai.

Have u considered a Cedia transplant in the Lancer? Dunno if this has been tried before...
Cedia engine churns out 115 BHP in stock form, mod it a bit, and you can add a few extra horses to that... Only things are finding a donor car and fitting the engine.
Has anyone explored this route?

as u pointed getting a donor engine would be really tough....anyways...guess it would be cheaper to get a cedia and mod it given the rate at which this car is undergoing price cuts

The hunt seems to be narrowing down to a MIVEC transplant !!!! Have been speaking to people & seems like it may crystalize soon.....can't stop smiling to myself........keeping my fingers crossed - details once I have the engine in hand.........
