well just my 2 cents.

i had a talk with speedzak regarding his V6 Mivec.well to qoute him "butter smooth".

and i have had this given to me by a lot of people too.but the catch is that its not a bolt on.the engine mounts have to be made in case of a V6 mivec.

this is a job that need perfection and care.

now the mivec inline 4.well this engine,the 4g92 is a simply amazing engine.you simply wonder how it takes out so much power in NA form.i had a short experience of driving a masterpiece in bangalore.done by electra performance.amazing is the word.but mind it that that perticular car was running on a worked upon Mivec.putting out nearly 200 horses as i was told.and i will not doubt electra performance on that.also because of the long list of work done on it.

but the downside is that you have to use high octane fuel to extract max power.if you want to see the true potential of that engine.use 97 octane with additional octane boosters.and it will drive you crazy.

Hey Ricky,
Not meaning to nitpick dude, but you're referring to the 6a12 DOHC, which does put out close to 180 BHP. The 6a12 MIVEC puts out close to 200 BHP.

Well, my Lancer is going to go in for some SERIOUS power upgrade & believe me this time she's going to touch some real nice Bhp & torque figures

, gearbox with LSD, serious suspension & brake upgrades etc etc.

Will take it's own sweet time to do - coz I want it right

Will be putting up photographs & updates as & when the work starts !! Watch this space

Well the plan is to change / upgrade / revamp various things on the car & TRY to make it a scorcher. Let's see how it goes

I would like to seek the help of the photoshop experts to try & see what a scoop on the hood may look like (as the power upgrade MAY make the engine bay HOT)

I will also want to use HELLA driving lights as in the EVO 4 bumper or on a pod on the hood.

could the photoshop experts help - pictures of my Lancer are in my garage.
