I guess it depends on how its shipped (through whom), how the contents are declared on the package, and to some extent how big/heavy the package is.

I'd ordered a headphone adapter via express delivery for my XDA IIi from Expansys HK a year back and it was shipped by some premium carrier. The package was no bigger than an audio cassette and the item cost 1600/- or so. I was hoping there would be no duty, but the g0#$#@n carrier declared the adapter (a 3 cm piece of wire with two connectors on each end) as an electronic item and I got slapped with duty.

Another time I ordered a case for my XDA IIi (again) from HK (again) and it was shipped by the seller (not eBay, but an online store) regular mode (regd. airmail). The item cost about 2K, and the package was about as big as a medium-size dictionary (not at all heavy though). It took a while to get here, but no duty was charged.

Gautham,
Can you tell me the Neon brand and cost for it. Post a front side pic of the car when Neons are glowing. Also post some interior pics of seat covers, gear knobs.

@badboy, the white SX4 look really cool and the interior design is quite radical . some may like it some dont. I really liked it. However the rear seat behind drivers looks white and only driver seats is red, this is a bit odd. If it was red as well, it would make more sense.

If the following were not there, it would be awesome

rear spoiler on windscreen
original rear lamps. This one gives it an esteem look from rear

hay, do these 18"ers invalidate all the guarantee / warranty the company offers. I mean on the suspension and other things?

Also had another doubt, how does your insurance company handle this, in case there is a claim? Wouldn't they say that having tyres other that what is recommended by the manufacturer fouled up the handling...etc etc

Thinking on those lines, wouldnt all performance mods too fall in this category?
