My friend has Esteem VXi one from the last batches (he took it 7-8 months agao) and it doesn't have E ORVM. So I think one has to go for aftermarket, else mod to suit the the WR mirror.

Do you know who was the guy?? I need to get it done on my Skoda and Optra as climbing out everytime and closing them in narrow lanes / busy traffic has become a pain...

I remember days when i was a lot younger, I used to see this ad in Auto india about electric aftermarket mirror kits for all cars. Maybe if someone has an old car magazine back when the 309d vs escort d was mentioned. you could find a source..

ps: Let me know if anyone does. MY ESTEEM WANTS E-MIRRORS

Hi JRD,

The name was Enginetech, if I remember correctly. They did have a website, but cannot find it now. I did buy electric mirrors for Maruti 800 from them directly.

Did have an email chain long back, lost with the old computers.

ibm_jennifer did mention about them in the Safari TCIC maintenance costs thread, he should have a lead to them.

Actually, I'm not clear what this thread is about.
Is it about electrically adjustable ORVMs or electrically foldable ORVMs?

It's about electrically adjustable. But if they are available with electrical folding also, the better it is.

I found their contact info. Can any pune boys check them out?

Enginetech Systems Pvt. Ltd.

Hey, can anyone of you post some pictures of Internally adjustable ORVM for an ALto. Actually my dealer said that I wont get Internally Adjustable mirrors for Alto. Infact I am paying a whopping 2600 for feather mirrors (body colored). She (the sales person) said that now Maruti has stopped making Internally adjustable mirrors morever in Alto there is no place for the motor to be place.

Need some pictures to prove that seople do use Int adj Mirrors.

Hi guys, interesting topic. I was looking for something like this for my Zen Lx old model as it doesn;t have an internally adjusted OVRM forget a E-OVRM.

I found the website for Enginetech being discussed here
:: Leading Automotive Mirror Manufacturer in India, Leading Automotive Vision Systems Manufacturer in India.

Can someone find details for the internally adjusted OVRM and E-OVRM like price and feasibility please .

Hi,

Years back, I did get electrically operated door mirrors for fitting into a 800 from Enginetech.

In those days, a phone direct to the company was attended with care, the mirrors were couriered.

I am sure their attitude would be the same. Lost the contact details along with an old computer.

You can get an internally adjustable mirror for Alto for about 1100-1200. But, I'm ignorant about the electrical ORVM.
