Yes Sir, at your service. I have upgraded the ICE in the car and gave Ajmat and Viddy a demo yesterday.

DLS did'nt happen. I opted for Illusion (Carbon series) and Ground Zero instead. To my untuned and unexperienced ears, the setup sounds completely awesome.

I will (maybe) start a thread on the new ICE setup next week. I will also update the pictures in the garage.

Cheers.

Farhan, am defintely going to meet you and your car when I'm in Chennai (which hopefully will be soon). Heard so much about it from you and the others. And plus, I'll finally get to sit in a Lancer that can MOVE.

Will be waiting for the thread on the same. Hope you do it in time.

I've had the good fortune of a small ride in the car. In the middle of otherwise peaceful driving, Farhan floored it for a small stretch. I think it did 80 in the first gear and quite easily at that! That car is really a beast.

Ajmat and me had an awesome night ride in the car. The car's got amazing low end pull and easily pulls in 5th gear at 40kmph without any pinging.

The sudden thrust at 5500odd rpm totally changes the exhaust note. I just told Sideways that the exhaus was nicely muted and he floored it. The MIVEC kicked in and man what an intoxicating exhaust note.

The new ICE setup in the car is just amazing. The vocals are very very clear and the bass is deep and accurate evan when set to -20db.

Here's a pic I took yesterday, it was a mitsubishi meet in the parking lot:

Hey Ram! Farhan bhai you do understand who you've done now na? Since you've installed Illusion AND Ground Zero in your car and also told LBM about it, he's now going to have a life-sized poster printed of you & paste it in his room & do aarti in front of it every morning & evening!!

P.S. And by aarti, I mean the aarti done after the prayers at temples, it's not LBM's girlfriend's name!

P.P.S. Viddy, did you start giggling like a girl when Farhan floored it??

You have to see it to believe it. There is not a single loose wire out of place. Every single thing is in place.

Open the hood and it looks like a stock engine. It's like it was meant to be there from birth. The wiring the plumbing everything looks better than my factory setup. Even though it's only 100cc more than the 4G15 it looks huge in the engine bay due to the DOHC and one extra valve per cylinder.

The car's got a new hood, an all aluminum one which is so light compared to the stock hood. With the side air vent and the mesh grill on top centre, the hood looks absolutely wicked.

The ICE install was very clean with the amps mounted at the back of the rear seat in the boot. The subs and rear speakers are mounted on the parcel shelf. The boot has a nice plank over the stepney. The yellow optima battery is also in the boot.

ps: Ishan giggling all the way and completely in awe.

Yes, I know, but did not want to trouble you too much. We can plan this when you schedule a trip to Chennai.
